The state of MicroSD card support for Android is kind of odd right now. Long-time expandable storage champion Samsung has decided to forego it for the latest flagships, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, while its competitors at HTC and LG are including MicroSD card slots in their high-end phones. If you're still in the market for a card, Amazon is selling them in 32GB and 64GB capacities at two speeds for a significant discount through the Gold Box daily deal portal.

If you just need a little bit of extra storage, the SanDisk Ultra 32GB card with speeds of up to 48MBps is going for .99, a modest discount of $4 (and still much lower than you're likely to find at most brick-and-mortar retailers). The 64GB version of the same cars is .99 today, $10 off of the list price. If you need something faster (for example, for using the SHIELD line's SD card app loading functionality, or for pulling double duty as a DSLR or mirrorless camera card), Amazon is also selling the Extreme PRO MicroSD cards with speeds of up to 95MBps in the same capacities. The 32GB card is .99 ( off), and the 64GB card is .99 ( off). Make sure your phone or tablet can actually support that higher I/O speed before spending the extra dough.

Amazon is also selling standard SanDisk SD cards, Compact Flash cards, and conventional USB flash drives at considerable discounts. As with all Gold Box deals, the prices are good only for today, and all of them include free two-day shipping for Amazon Prime subscribers.
