Ever wanted the Moto 360's charging screen on another Android Wear watch? Ever wished you could see more information on that charging screen? If you answered yes to at least one of these two questions, then you might be interested in Wear Charging Widget.
The application automatically triggers when your Android Wear watch is charging. With a Moto 360-inspired design, it has an evolving circle that shows the current amount of charge on the watch, along with the time, date, and weather. Then if you want to disable it for some reason, you simply long press the screen to exit the app.
There are 3 reasons why Wear Charging Widget is interesting. First, it works on both round and square watches. Second, it can notify your phone when the watch is done charging, which is rather cool. And third and most interestingly, it is built to avoid burn-in on the screen: the entire widget moves a few pixels every minute so that the same ones aren't always on.
Wear Charging Widget works well on my LG G Watch R, but a few users are reporting issues with half the widget displaying off the screen. The developer is aware of that and working on a fix. If you want to try it out for yourself, you can grab it from the widget below.
