Google I/O is a huge event for Android every year, and now we know when it's going down in 2015. Google's head of Chrome and Android, Sundar Pichai has posted the official dates on Google+. The conference will be held on May 28th and 29th in San Francisco.

There will be a limited number of spots at I/O, and there's always a lot of competition for tickets. Google started running a lottery last year to make ticket disbursement more fair. It will be the same thing this year, according to the registration page. Registrations will open on March 17 at 9AM PDT. If you can't make it, all the sessions should be live streamed, and of course, AP will have live coverage.

The I/O 2015 site is up already, but there's not currently a full agenda. The site does have some awesome animations, though. Google is pretty serious about this material theme.
