Using a Yahoo email address isn't really "cool" anymore, but millions of people do. The Yahoo Mail app for Android is getting an update today, so maybe it's time to go back and fire up that old Yahoo account. You'll find the Yahoo Mail app wants to be a lot more than an inbox.

So clearly these are not the sort of functions you'd expect from an email client. Yahoo has been working to make its mail app a hub for several of its other services. It shows weather, news, and a few other bits of data. With the new update it has a little Google Now flavor with the package tracking and flight data.
