The fifth series of Android mini collectibles from Dead Zebra is just around the corner, and the first preview is now live on Dead Zebra's site. Andrew Bell and company have some fun stuff this year, including an Android policeman. It's not technically connected with Android Police, but I'm going to pretend it is. Just add an AP logo and you're golden.

Only two designs have been revealed on the site so far—the police officer on the skateboard (Sk8 Cop by Gary Ham) and a panda (designed by Google). Dead Zebra's Android minis are sold as blind boxes, so you never know what you're going to get. Each series of collectibles includes 12-15 designs, one of which is a so-called "chaser," rare designs that only show up occasionally. You can see some of the past series on Dead Zebra's site.

Series 5 will be on sale in a few weeks, but you'll have to act fast. They tend to sell out almost instantly and not many retailers carry them. Single boxes in the past have been $10 and a case of 16 is around $100. Keep an eye out for the upcoming design previews.
