When it comes to interior design, there are three categories of people: those who will get any item and place it anywhere, those will do their best to make things look good without going to extremes, and those who will agonize over every angle, size, color, and texture. If you fall somewhere between the second and third category, you'll be happy to know that iOS-famous Home Design 3D is now available on Android.

Home Design 3D lets you draw floor plans for rooms of any size or shape in 2D and add walls, doors, and other joinery. You can then drag and drop over 800 furniture objects and textures into the design. Switch to 3D mode, and you'll have a render of your interior with a nifty day/night option that shows you exactly how your rooms are supposed to look at various times of the day. Compared to the iOS app, the Android version also adds the much-needed Undo/Redo options.

The app is free in the Play Store, but that version is quite limited: it won't let you save your projects. If you want to do that, you'll have to fork out $6.99 as an in-app purchase. This also unlocks the option to share projects on Dropbox and on the Home Design 3D community website, but doesn't cover the object packs. In order to get all of them, you'll want the #$9.99 Gold IAP instead. Here is a detailed comparative table with the different versions' features.

You can download the app below and while you're at it, I suggest you check out Houzz and Homestyler for some cool interior design ideas.
