Google's Building 44 is the home of the Android team, and its lawn is the home of the iconic Android statues. Each version gets a place on the lawn, and the newly announced lollipop is no different. Although, this time it's a less abstract take on the mascot—the bugdroid is holding a giant lollipop.

Most of the recent statues turn the Android mascot into the confectionary namesake of each version (see KitKat). Not this time. The little green robot looks pretty happy to be standing there with the giant lollipop, though. Still a cool statue, and the peace sign is a nice touch. I can't say I ever imagined the bugdroid having fingers.
