If you've been dying to get your hands on CyanogenMod's [kind of] recently-announced screencasting tool, the wait is over. The app has been released to the Play Store via beta channel. There are, of course, a few requisites before the app will work:

Once all of those qualifications have been met, you're free to give this new beta a shot. It's worth noting that the app will show up as incompatible with any device not currently running CM11, so it's important that this is done before you can install the app.

One of the things that makes CM's screencasting tool so interesting is how easy it is to use. Once installed, a simple power+volume up combo will initiate recording, complete with voice recording. This is definitely easier than any other solution on the market, and so far it seems to be working quite well.
