We all knew it was coming - Full Tilt Poker Rush Mobile, the first real money poker game on Android, has finally hit the Android Market, and is available for devices running Froyo, due to the Flash 10.1 requirement. The app still bears a beta sticker, so be careful with those hard earned greens of yours. Obviously, it goes without saying that you should also find a stable connection, preferably WiFi, unless you want to fold every hand you get disconnected from.

Wait a minute, "What is this Rush poker?" you may ask. I'll let FullTiltPoker explain:

This revolutionary new poker format is designed to minimize your wait time between hands and keep you in the action at all times. Whether you’re playing a Rush Poker ring game or a Rush Poker Tournament, you’ll join a large player pool and face a different table of opponents every hand you play. When you fold your hand, you’ll be rushed to a new table for the next hand immediately.

So, I can lose my money even faster now? OK, got it.

Watch the brief intro video and then hit up the download link to jump right into action, but not before glancing over the very useful FAQ, the current version of which, I'm including below:

If I don’t have a Full Tilt Poker account, can I create one using the application?

Yes. Get started by clicking the Create New Account button on the Rush Poker* Mobile login screen, and then follow the instructions to create your Full Tilt Poker account. When you’ve successfully completed this process, you’ll be redirected back to the login screen.

After you’ve signed up for an account, you’ll need to validate your email address before you can begin playing in any games.

How do I validate my email address?

When you create your new account, an email will be sent to the address registered to your account with a validation code. When you log in to the application, you’ll be prompted to enter this code.

What are the differences between Rush Poker* Mobile game play and Rush Poker* on the standard Full Tilt Poker software?

The game play interface for Rush Poker* Mobile differs from the standard software in that the action buttons are in different locations and there are no pre-action options available. Otherwise, game play proceeds as it would normally, and you’ll be joining the same player pool as those using the standard software.

Can I continue a Rush Poker* “session” on my mobile device from the standard software?

Yes, but it’s best to sit out before making the switch. If you’re playing multiple sessions on the standard software, you’ll only be able to continue one session when you switch to the mobile application.

You can also continue a session from the application to the standard software, but again, we advise sitting out before doing so.

How do I access game play option settings in the application?

You can access the “Options” screen in the main lobby, or by sitting out from a table and clicking the Options button. You’ll then be able to change your Animation, Deck, Bet Slider and Sound settings.

What happens if I have the Auto Rebuy and Auto Top Up settings enabled in the standard software?

If you have these settings enabled, they will be replicated in the Rush Poker* Mobile application. Any changes to these settings need to be made using the standard software.

Can I deposit funds to my account while using the Rush Poker* Mobile application?

No. To deposit funds to your account, use the Cashier in the standard Full Tilt Poker software.

Can I reload my play money chips in the application?

Yes. To reload your play chips, go to the Cashier and click the Reload Play Chips button. The Cashier is available in the main lobby or when you sit out from a table.

Do I earn Full Tilt Points while using the application?

Yes. You earn the same number of Full Tilt Points for playing at real money tables as you would with the standard software. If you’re a Black Card Member or playing during an applicable Happy Hour period, you’ll also earn the same number of bonus points.

Can I access my hand history files through the application?

No. To get your hand history files, you’ll need to use the Hand Histories (Beta) feature, which can be accessed through the “My Promotions” section of the Cashier in the standard software.

Is there any way to change languages?

No. Rush Poker* Mobile is only available in English at this time.

Why is Rush Poker* Mobile a “beta” application?

Because testing of Rush Poker* Mobile is ongoing, it is still a beta application.

Is there a risk of experiencing lag or disconnection issues while using a mobile device?

Yes. Even extremely good mobile coverage areas are not reliable 100% of the time, and you may experience lag or disconnection issues even under the very best circumstances.

Note that if your mobile device switches from a 3G to a Wi-Fi connection there is a 90 second window where your device has no connectivity. We recommend sitting out from the table before switching networks.

What happens if I disconnect from the game while using a mobile device?

As with the standard Full Tilt Poker software, if you disconnect from the game your hand will be folded upon timing out and you’ll sit out from the table.

Can I use the application on a Skyfire browser?

No, we do not endorse or support the use of the Skyfire browser with Rush Poker* Mobile, as the security of your account information cannot be ensured. Full Tilt Poker is not responsible for any compromised accounts as a result of using Skyfire.
