[Review] SummitX Snowboarding By Com2uS Offers Incredibly Realistic Gameplay And Stunning Graphics

Ever since we reviewed Ski Challenge 12, I have been on the hunt for an equally incredible snowboarding game. Com2uS ended my search with the release of SummitX Snowboarding, a ridiculously awesome downhill challenge game for those of us who enjoy boarding more than skiing.

First Things First

Update: The developer recently added information about pricing in the description. Thanks guys!
I would like to mention a minor complain before we go any further - SummitX is listed as free in the Android Market and nowhere in the description does it mention payment of any kind.

[Review] Grand Theft Auto III For Android Brings Criminal Shenanigans To The Palm Of Your Hand

Rockstar Games released the revolutionary Grand Theft Auto III in 2001, and they’re back again to blow minds with a 10 year anniversary mobile edition of the same game. If you’ve ever played GTA (and I know you have), then you already know how incredibly addictive the game is and how easy it is to play for hours on end without even thinking of stopping. The mobile edition is just the same - I’ve been playing it non-stop for the past day and I still can’t get enough.

[Review] Camel Games' Little Empire Is Interestingly Addictive, But Could Still Use Some Work

Recently, I picked up Little Empire, and while it does have a few technical issues, I can't seem to put it down. In fact, I normally get bored of new games pretty quickly, but I've probably logged a solid 5 hours of gameplay within the last 2 days. Being a ruthless king is hard work, you know.

First Things First

Camel Games describes this game as the "World's first LBS (Location Based Services) mobile MMO." While I can't be entirely sure this is actually a world first, it definitely is worth mention.

[Review] Experience The Thrill Of Downhill Skiing (Minus The Broken Bones) With Ski Challenge 12

I've always wondered what it feels like to fly down a slope going mach-10 on a pair of skis, and I'd be tempted to try it if the threat of death wasn't so impending. Thankfully, we mentioned Ski Challenge 12 in our latest new-game roundup and I can finally experience the exhilarating rush of downhill skiing from the comfort of my home.

First Things First

Ski Challenge 12 is a unique racing game in which you play as a professional Alpine skier.

[Review] SilverTree Media's Sleepy Jack Is A Phenomenal Game Full Of Dreamy Creativity And Imagination

About a week ago, we mentioned Sleepy Jack in a new-game roundup. I recently picked it up and haven't been able to put it back down since! If you can remember bringing your toys to life using the power of childhood imagination (or even if you can't), this game is sure to get your mind going.

First Things First

Sleepy Jack has to be one of the most creative, well-made mobile games I've played to date, and I've played quite a few.

[Review] Polarbit's Tank Riders Has Good Gameplay But Needs Work

The other day, Polarbit released a new game called Tank Riders, and I was thoroughly excited to get my hands on my own tiny tank. I mean, who doesn't want to control a miniature tank and blow things up with miniature artillery? Nobody, that's who.

First Things First

At first glace, this game seems to have all of the action-packed fun you'd need to last a while. Polarbit boasts rich and vibrant graphics, attacking hordes of bad guys in single-player campaign mode, playing against other tiny tank riders in online multiplayer, and downloadable content that will keep the game fresh and exciting.

[Review] Vector Unit's Shine Runner Puts Hillbilly Fun In The Palm Of Your Hand

Having harbored a lifelong love of both moonshine and wreaking havoc in souped-up airboats, I was naturally excited when we came across Shine Runner. Finally, I can blaze across backcountry bayous, smuggling only the finest hillbilly necessities. This game is the latest from Vector Unit, makers of Riptide GP, and it is sure to bring out the hillbilly in you.

[New Game] Inertia Escape Velocity Is A Side-Scroller That Will Infuriate And Confuse You In The Greatest Way Possible

If there's one thing we love here at Android Police more than anything, it's puppies. That usually doesn't come into play here, though, so we often deal with our very close second favorite thing: Amazingly playable, gorgeously rendered, ingeniously designed games. I just so happen to have one of those right here.

Inertia Escape Velocity is a game in which you play a futuristic scavenger collecting what I can only assume are generic, mass produced future-machine parts.

[New Game Review] Age Of Defenders Easily Overshadows Existing Tower Defense Games With A Polished, Thoughtful, Unique Approach

About a month after CUKETA got us excited about Age of Defenders, their unique new take on tower defense has hit the Android Market. Of course I had to get a copy and check it out for myself. I wasn't disappointed.

At A Glance

First of all, Age of Defenders is gorgeous. The menus, loading screens, and of course the gameplay environments are all extremely polished and look great. Besides its aesthetic appeal, Defenders offers a lot in the way of functionality.

[New Game Review] Cosmonauts Makes Fighting Galactic Evil Fun, Social, And Kind Of Cute

Superplay games made its first entry into the Android Market recently with Cosmonauts, a cartoony outer space “turn-based combat” game which spoofs cold-war drama by pitting you against a galactic superpower aiming to conquer space itself.

At A Glance

Cosmonauts is an amusing game that’s easy to pick up and play at any time. It offers familiar three-stars-per-level gameplay, but also allows for combat against real players. If you want to play with a friend, Cosmonauts offers a pass-and-play option, meaning you and your opponent share a device.
