Samsung Announces The GALAXY Mega 5.8 And 6.3 Phones, In Their Continuing Efforts To Conquer Every Screen Size

4.99 inches? Small potatoes. 5.5 inches? That's like a baby's toy! In their quest to extend smartphones to every possible dimension, Samsung has announced the GALAXY Mega 5.8 and GALAXY Mega 6.3, with (you guessed it) 5.8" and 6.3" screens, respectively. While these husky and fluffy phones (the Galaxy Note 8.0 probably falls into the dayum category) are styled after the new Galaxy S4, their specifications plant them firmly in the mid-range, bringing gigantic screens to markets that were previously off-limits.

PSA: If You've Been Using The 't0lte' Build Of CyanogenMod 10.1 On Your Note II, AT&T And T-Mobile Specific Builds Are Available Beginning Today

For those who've been running the latest CM10.1 builds on their Galaxy Note II, a little change is rolling out in the CyanogenMod world today. Up to this point, the t0lte build has been the go-to for all versions of the LTE Note II. As of today, however, that changes – CyanogenMod has separated the AT&T and T-Mobile versions into their own builds to better handle the slight "hardware and device variations."

Thus, if you've been regularly flashing t0lte nightlies, you'll need to switch it up a bit and grab the appropriate version for your device if you're on AT&T or T-Mo.

In a world full of Galaxy devices, some are great, some are good, and some make you scratch your head as to why they even exist in the first place.
