You'll finally be able to hitch your wagon to the Sprint Spark LTE network in tablet fashion come this Friday. That's when Sprint plans to launch its first tablet with support for tri-band LTE. The device in question is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and other than the LTE radio, it looks to be the same device you can get now sans mobile data.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Allegedly Leaks Ahead Of Official Unveiling

Samsung Gear Live Also Getting The Update To Android Wear Build KMV78Y

LG responded to concerns over corrosion of the G Watch charging pins by making a few tweaks with the KMV78Y update. Now the same build is rolling out to the Samsung Gear live, which as far as I'm aware, doesn't have the same charging pin issues. How curious.

Samsung And Apple Agree To End All Patent Disputes Outside The US

It's not a complete truce, but Samsung and Apple are backing down slightly from their ongoing patent war. The companies have issued a joint statement announcing the agreement to end all patent litigation between the two outside the US. Cases in the US will continue, though.

Apple first sued Samsung in 2011 for copying the look and feel of iOS in its TouchWiz Android skin. Samsung fired back, and the battle has raged on across the globe ever since.

Samsung Announces Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 In Berlin, Beijing, And New York - Note Things Imminent

Samsung has just sent out official invites to the company's Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 event, and Note's the theme. There will be simultaneous Unpacked press conferences in Berlin (IFA), Beijing, and New York on September 3rd. The event will start at 9AM EST in New York, 3PM in Berlin, and 9PM in Beijing.

We'll be live in Berlin for this latest Unpacked, widely assumed to be the debut event for Samsung's basically-imminent Galaxy Note 4 smartphone, though there could be surprises in store, like Gear VR - you never know with Samsung.

Samsung Allegedly Stopped Paying Microsoft Its Android Royalties, Microsoft Responds Predictably (Read: Lawyers)

Both Samsung and Microsoft have announced that they ended this contract dispute and the ICC arbitration, while keeping the terms of the agreement confidential.

Update: Microsoft's PR agency reached out to clarify that the lawsuit is not over a failure to pay, but merely a failure to pay on time and with accrued late payment interest.
