[Yo Dawg] Samsung made an Android app to transfer Tizen apps from an Android phone to a Tizen phone

I won't blame you if you're confused by the title of this post. I am too and I just wrote it. Samsung just released an app to the Play Store that's called "Tizen App Share." The name Tizen should first raise your eyebrow, because that's Samsung's other operating system, the one it famously runs on its popular Gear smartwatches, but also the one it is developing quasi-silently as a full-blown smartphone OS. The latter part hasn't been very popular, but then again Samsung hasn't put its complete marketing juggernaut weight behind it so it's understandably low key.

So when you read Tizen App Share, you might think it's a new utility to share apps between two Gear watches or between phones and Gear watches or something of the sorts...

5 little things I love about the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+

We all know that the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are some of the nicest phones on the market. I could go on and on about all of their features, such as their gorgeous edge-to-edge AMOLED displays, brand-new Snapdragon 835s, excellent cameras, IP68 water resistance, and so much more. I personally think that the S8+ is the absolute best phone out right now, which is why I pre-ordered a T-Mobile model in the beautiful Orchid Gray color as soon as I could. Now that I've been using it for three weeks or so, I've discovered some nice quirks that I've come to appreciate in daily use.

The wait for Nougat on the unlocked US Galaxy S7 edge (G935U) is finally over. Samsung has dragged its heels for quite a while on pushing 7.0 for the US unlocked models, but at least one of Samsung's year-old flagships is seeing it. Unfortunately, there is still no word on the non-edge G930U variant. The latest update is available, although no users have reported seeing it as an OTA yet. For now, you'll have to manually install it if you want it.

[Deal Alert] Get a free Samsung Entertainment Kit with your Galaxy S8 or S8+ purchase from May 3rd to May 16th

In the past few years, smartphone manufacturers have been bundling in free stuff with their shiny new phones in hopes of enticing us to drop hundreds of dollars on something most of us really don't need. Take LG, for example; they threw in a 200GB microSD and spare battery with the V10, some B&O earphones with the V20, and a Google Home with the G6. Like it's done often in the past, Samsung included a free Gear VR with Galaxy S8/S8+ pre-orders (plus a 256GB microSD and some AKG Bluetooth headphones for an extra $99). But if you want an S8 now, you'll get what Samsung is calling the 'Samsung Entertainment Kit' instead.
