Samsung has been muddying the waters of the Galaxy brand ever since it launched, and the Galaxy S4 has been sent to new depths, with no less than three "S4" variants following the original's release by only a few months. But the Galaxy S4 Active - the sporty, tough, waterproof version of Samsung's flagship - is the first of the company's myriad extended line that actually deserves the same name as its more mainstream brother. If you use the stock browser on the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4, you may notice the strange button in the corner. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the Lumen Toolbar. It shipped on the S4, but Sprint is just now detailing it as part of the carrier's Pinsight Media+ mobile advertising program. You know those obnoxious toolbars that programs are always trying to cram on your PC? This is the same thing, but your carrier is doing it to you. Read More
While the Big Four have been able to tout the GS 4 for several months now, customers of most smaller carriers have been left wanting. Today marks the launch of the device for two such carriers: MetroPCS and C Spire Wireless.

If you're in the market for a tablet and don't fancy the Nexus line, Samsung is now asking for your money. The new Galaxy Tab 3 devices are for sale in the US. There comes a time in every smartphone owner's life when upgrading is necessary. Sometimes it's by choice; other times by necessity. Either way, we're usually left with an aging phone we no longer use (or want, in most cases), which gets thrown in a drawer and forgotten. Poor little guys. Let's all take a moment of silence in honor of all the smartphones that have been replaced and thrown to the wayside to be forgotten. Read More
With only 9GB of user-accessible storage, the 16GB variant of the GS4 simply won't do for many users. Sure, you can throw a microSD card in it for movies, music, pictures, etc., but that won't help in the slightest if you need more space for apps (for now, at least). The solution? Get the 32GB version. And if you're on AT&T, Amazon just knocked the price down by $40, making it comparable to the 16GB version's retail subsidized price. Read More
While we were collaborating on the Galaxy Note 8.0 review, Cameron and I wondered what the "sweet spot" for pricing on this tablet would be. This is it: at $300, the Galaxy Note 8.0 becomes an easy recommendation rather than an exercise in compromises (especially if you're looking for a Goldilocks mid-sized screen). eBay has Samsung's latest stylus-oriented tablet for $299.99, assuming that you're OK with a manufacturer refurbished model.
