Are you a T-Mobile customer absolutely fed up with the carrier's admittedly absurd on-contract pricing for phones? I probably would be, too, if I was on T-Mobile. Fortunately, if you're a savvy consumer, a few times a year T-Mo offers some legitimately good deals on its best phones for around 48 hours, and on November 16th, one of those sales is going to happen. And no, the Galaxy Note II isn't a part of it, sadly. Read More
According to Reuters, analyst firm Strategy Analytics has determined that during the third quarter of 2012, the Galaxy S III was the world's best-selling smartphone. Now, there is one small caveat that does put a slight damper on this rather big achievement for Samsung, and that's the fact that the iPhone 5 was slated to launch at the end of Q3, which always slows down current-gen iPhone sales. It's also pretty unlikely Samsung will hold onto this title for Q4. Read More
Ah, Black Friday. The biggest (and most malevolent) shopping day of the year. A day of good deals, hateful people, and... other stuff. If you're willing to brave the all that for a new phone, Sam's Club has you covered this year, with the Galaxy S III going for less than a buck with a new two-year agreement.
From what we gathered by calling a few different Sam's stores, this is good for all four carriers (so long as your local Sam's has them all). Read More
Docks are hard to come by for Android hardware, where very few individual models rise above the pack. But if you're one of 30,000,000 people sporting a Galaxy S III, or one of the considerably smaller number using AT&T's Samsung Infuse 4G, you can pick up an official vehicle mount for a song. Assuming that you can sing a song that's worth five American dollars.
The Infuse 4G dock is currently $29.99 on Amazon, but some wary forum poster over at SlickDeals spotted the same dock at AT&T's online store for just five bucks even. Read More
It's always a joyous occasion to welcome a new device into the CyanogenMod family. This time it's the MetroPCS variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III.
CyanogenMod is one of the most popular Android ROMs and is supported on a ton of devices already. The CyanogenMod 10 version being offered for the MetroPCS SGS3 is a nightly build, meaning it is the experimental product of a day's work. Bugs are to be expected, but CM10 is getting quite stable overall. Read More

Here's the history of the Jelly Bean updates for the Galaxy S III so far:
We've all experienced the misfortune of dropping a phone. Some of us have even taken that bad experience a step further, by not only dropping the phone, but having it end up in a puddle/pool of water. At that point, there's little hope of its survival. Let's all have a moment of silence for devices who've met their tragic fate by being dropped.
If you own a Galaxy S III and cringe at the thought of losing your beloved device in such a manner, there's hope: the new OBEX case from Seidio. Read More
We heard the rumor yesterday and now it looks like our dreams have come to pass! Sprint's Galaxy S III will be receiving an OTA Jelly Bean upgrade starting today. Of course, this also bring a new TouchWiz update as well, but fortunately, things like Google Now and widget organization magic will remain intact. Here's the changelog:
Jelly Bean offers users a smoother, faster and more fluid experience with expanded feature functionality, including:
- Google Now™ gets you just the right information at just the right time, like how much traffic to expect before you leave for work or when the next train will arrive as you’re standing on the platform.
