If you've been eyeing Samsung's Galaxy Note but don't want to pay full price, 1SaleADay may be able to help. 1SaleADay has listed the Unlocked, 16GB variety of the Galaxy Note on eBay for just $549.99 (with free shipping). That's a cool $50 less than the last deal we saw on the Note.

For those that may not be familiar with Sammy's first ever "phablet," the Note, which promises "the best of a phone and a tablet," has some pretty sweet specs (including its luxuriously enormous display):

  • 5.3" Super AMOLED display
  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread (with ICS reportedly on the way in Q2)
  • S Pen Stylus
  • 16GB Internal Storage (with microSD slot)
  • 8MP Rear camera / 2MP front-facing shooter
  • 1GB RAM
  • 1.4GHz dual-core processor
  • 2500mAh Battery

Sound good?

Folks across the pond rocking that huge phone/tiny tablet simply known as the Galaxy Note have been waiting patiently for Samsung to deliver on that Q1 promise for the ICS update. Bad news: doesn't look like that's going to happen. According a new post on Samsung Norway's Facebook page, the Android 4.0 update for the mighty Note has been delayed until sometime in Q2.

Gotta love Google Translate.

While this news may be a bit disheartening, I wouldn't stress out too much about it just yet - Samsung has been known to say the wrong thing from time to time, after all.

We've been hearing a few rumors about what Samsung had planned for SXSW for a couple of days - supposedly it was some big surprise. We've heard speculations covering everything from the Galaxy S III to an 11.6-inch tablet, but Sammy PR just sent out an email telling us what was really going on. Are you ready for the most anticlimactic news of the year?

It's Angry Birds Space. Yes, we're serious. No GSIII. No 11.6-inch tablet. Just Angry Birds Space on the Galaxy Note (phone).

All of the kerfuffle just for Angry Birds Space?! Seriously, Samsung ? I'm not sure if you guys (or Rovio) got the memo, but Angry Birds is played out, and we're all tired of hearing about it.

The Samsung Galaxy Note (and its unheard of size) has been a hot topic since its AT&T release this past week, and we have seen quite a few conflicting opinions on the practicality of the device over the last few days. Many say that the gigantic screen prevents users from carrying it around comfortably, while others claim that it doesn't feel much different than any other phone. I've had the pleasure of using the Note for the past week, and I must say that I am incredibly impressed.

When I first opened up the Galaxy Note's box I was astonished by its size.

I'm not sure how season two of Fact Checkers Unit escaped our attention back in January, but thanks to Samsung's official blog which highlighted this hilarious series today, we now know better. And let me tell you, if you haven't seen any of the new episodes yet, you're in for a treat.

Fact Checkers Unit started as a short film with Bill Murray, then turned into a web series (Hulu has the first season episodes as well), and thanks to Samsung, MTV, SXM Entertainment, and Moxie Pictures has now reached season two. All five episodes of this season maintain high production quality mixed with occasional Galaxy Note usage scenarios and top notch humor that is sure to crack a smile on your face.

Those still waiting for a hot deal on Samsung's gargantuan Galaxy Note are in luck – AT&T is offering the Note at 50% off for new or add-a-line customers if you click through a special link that enables the discount.

To take advantage of the deal, customers need only to head over to AT&T's site, choose the Samsung Galaxy Note for a new or add-a-line contract (it'll show the full price at this point - just keep on trucking), and continue with checkout. The savings will be automatically applied at that point. If you've been yearning for the Note but want a great deal, you're not likely to run into a better discount in the near future.

I have to apologize. For what, you're asking? For not publishing this video 15 minutes sooner, mostly due to being incapacitated by convulsive laughter that resulted from watching it.

What we have here today is probably the most hysterical unofficial review of the Galaxy Note any phone, ever. Of course, I welcome you to beat it (just leave a link in the comments), but my memory does not have a record of a performance that could rival this one by ELPRESADOR.

I won't spoil it for you further. Just watch. It's pure gold.

In Eric's words: "I want to hear this guy do football commentary."

It looks like those still anxious to get their hands on Samsung's new phablet – The Galaxy Note – are in luck - Amazon Wireless is offering the Note for just $249.99 when customers upgrade or agree to a new 2 year contract. That's about $50 less than AT&T's price.

Even better, Amazon Wireless is giving customers the option of a white or black version of the Note (though the color selections are officially known as ceramic and carbon).
