A reasonable person would expect Sony to release a single companion app for its SmartBand Talk activity tracker, which comes equipped with a small e-ink display. Sprint's HTC One M8 has received an over-the-air update that gives that 4 "Ultrapixel" camera a boost. No, it doesn't magically cram in more pixels into those photos, but it does greatly expand just what you can do with the shooter on both the front and the back of the device.
