Google promised an OTA update that brings multiple user accounts to the Nexus 10 and lockscreen widgets to both the 10 and the 4 before the official launch date of November 13th. For two days now, Ron and I have been mashing the Check Updates button on our respective devices over and over hoping to get this update as quickly as possible... and we just got it.

This, of course, brings both of our devices up to full retail, complete with the above mentioned features.

Update 3: It appears that both the 8 and 16GB Nexus 4 are going back and forth between "In Stock" and "Coming Soon." Customers still looking to get their hands on a Nexus 4 are encouraged to keep their fingers on the refresh key, or simply check back a little later when things have settled down. If we get word that one or both variants are out of stock, we'll update.

The Nexus 4 launches tomorrow on the Play Store and it's sure to be a great day for Android fans everywhere. Of course, this will also be the first time that a Nexus device will have glass on both sides of the handset and traditional cases that cover the rear would make all that sleek engineering pointless. Fortunately, Google has you covered (I'm so sorry). A neat-looking bumper case has just shown up on the Play Store and will protect your $300+ investment for an extra $20.

Earlier today, rumors broke out across the net that, according to T-Mobile's support docs, the carrier's branded Nexus 4 will support Wi-Fi calling. Previous statements indicated that the N4 would not have this feature, so we reached out to T-Mobile for official word. Unfortunately, this was an error in the support documents and the phone will not support Wi-Fi calling after all. Here's the official word, directly from T-Mo:

You are correct, just a simple mistake in the online document.

If you've been aching to buy a new device on Sprint, today may be a good day to stroll through the doors of one of the carrier's retail shops to check out the new arrivals: the LG Optimus G, LG Mach, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 LTE.

The Optimus G is, of course, the flagship of the bunch, sporting a 4.7" TrueHD IPS+ panel, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, 2GB RAM, and Android 4.0.

Have you been chomping at the bit to figure out when you'll actually be receiving that Nexus 4 or Nexus 10 from the Play Store that you're definitely going to buy? Well, here's your answer, straight from Google: orders will begin for both on the 13th, and those orders will start shipping the same day. No pre-orders will be taken. So, if you go for overnight shipping, you could theoretically have sweet Nexus goodness the very next day - November 14th.

The most important phone of the year has arrived. We not only get a new version of Android, but a new approach to hardware design, too. This isn't just any new piece of hardware; this is (hopefully) the start of a revolution in design and materials for Android phones. This Nexus 4 hardware is so good, so well-built, and made with such attention to detail, that it is the new high bar for any hardware - not just Android hardware.

It's a big day for AT&T devices! For starters, the headlining LG phone that's managed to grab our attention as the best not-a-Nexus device the company has put out in recent memory. The LG Optimus G goes on sale today on the nation's #2 carrier for $199 with a two-year contract. Of course, for $100 more you can pick up a Nexus 4 from the Play Store, though you'll lack LTE.

Sure, it's not a Nexus 4, but not everything can be a flagship, right? If you're shopping around on T-Mobile and you want to save a bit of money, the LG Optimus L9 has arrived to give you another option. Starting at $80 (after mail-in rebate) on T-Mobile's website, or $50 via Wirefly, this mid-range device still nets you a decent 1Ghz dual-core processor, a 4.5" qHD display and a relatively beefy 2150 mAh battery.

Sprint's on a roll here lately with the 4G LTE device announcements. We already know the company is getting the powerhouse Note II, as well as its first LTE tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and LG's newest flagship, the Optimus G.

Of course, they want to cater to the needs of all customers.
