T-Mobile Launches VoLTE In Seattle; G Flex, Galaxy Light, And Note 3 Updated With Support

T-Mobile is ready to pull the metaphorical VoLTE lever marked Seattle, giving the city early access to the upgraded infrastructure the carrier hopes to roll out to more parts of the country over the course of the year. This voice over LTE connection will allow consumers to use voice and data at the same time, as voice calls will go out over IP on LTE rather than taking the current switched-circuit path approach.

LG Continues To Tease The G3 With A Video Demo Of Its QuickCircle Case

Between a bevy of leaks and no small amount of official previews, LG won't have much to tell us at its press conference next week that we don't already know. The latest official glimpse at the upcoming G3 flagship is the video below, which shows off the "QuickCircle" case, the latest incarnation of a flip case with a touch-through preview window. The idea isn't new, but the shape is: the QuickCircle case uses a large radial display area for basic phone functions.

As was the the G2, LG's G3 is one of the most leaked high-end smartphones of the year, and the information just seems to keep on flowing. Today, GSM Arena posted images from an internal presentation on the G3 in Korea, and they basically confirm many of the device's suspected components.

Perhaps most importantly, the G3 will apparently be the first major smartphone to launch with a QHD (Quad HD) display, something long predicted as inevitable in the race to ever-denser screens.

AT&T Pushing Android 4.4.2 OTA Update To The LG Optimus G Pro

Hey guys, how's the ol' Optimus G Pro holding up? Pretty well? Good news! That guy is about to get even better, as AT&T is pushing the Android 4.4.2 OTA starting now. That brings about a bunch of new features, including some battery improvements, Project Svelte (which just generally makes things faster), and more.

LG Posts New Teaser Video For G Watch

It can be easy to forget that the Moto 360 isn't the only Android Wear device coming this summer. Although, its probably the one we know the most about, especially now that LG has posted a teaser video for it.

The G Watch retains the traditional square shape of past smartwatches, but LG promises a sleek, waterproof metal design.There are a lot of fly-in close-ups of the G Watch, which look neat, but don't really tell us anything new about the device.
