If you're like me, you love smartphones, but you aren't willing to put up with an oppressive two-year contract just to have one. Unfortunately, unless you happen to have $600 lying around, that means you have to settle for hardware that leaves much to be desired. Thankfully, the times are a-changin'. The LG Optimus F7 is a pretty solid device, and while it's not quite the premium piece of high-performance hardware that Boost Mobile pitches it as, it's a great phone to pick up for carrier's launch price of $299.
When a moderately huge phone just won't cut it, there's the enormous LG Optimus G Pro. This 5.5-inch monster is LG's newest Android device and it can be yours for just $79.99 through Amazon. That's even lower than the Fry's deal last month for $99.99.
The Optimus G Pro is a step up from its predecessor, the Optimus G. The G Pro has a 1080p 5.5-inch LCD, 2GB of RAM, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600, a 13MP camera, and 32GB of storage.
Amazon is really killing it with these deals lately. This time it's selling the still pretty good LG Optimus G for $0.01 with a new contract. That might as well be free. Just yesterday AT&T dropped the price to $50, and now this. They're practically giving these things away.
If you're in the market for a new phone, LG's Optimus G and Optimus G Pro are both solid choices for your hard earned dollar. And to make that dollar go just a little further, AT&T just knocked a fairly substantial amount off of both devices, effectively cutting the cost of each in half.
Moving forward, you'll be able to grab the monstrous 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro for a single, solitary Benjamin.
Sprint announced the Optimus F3 this morning, a very boring little phone you probably couldn't care less about, and I don't blame you. What you should care about, though, is what's going on in the official press photos below. Look closely at the one on the left.

Why yes, that is a slightly older version of TouchWiz (Nature UX 1.0, if I'm not mistaken) that this Optimus F3 is running!
Word of the LG Optimus F7 hitting US Cellular's shelves hit the scene a few days ago thanks to a leaked company document. Anyone who was interested in grabbing 4.7-inch device didn't have to wait long – it just landed on the carrier's website for $99 with a two-year agreement.
The handset features a 4.7-inch 720p display, with an unnamed 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of storage space, and 8MP rear shooter, LTE, and Android 4.1 running the show.
Just a quick note for those who have been pining after the more capacious of the white Nexuses: it's back. After a couple of days absence from the Google Play Store, customers in the United States can now order a white Nexus 4 for the low, low price of $349. It even includes the white bumper accessory, just so you won't forget that you've got the lily white version of the phone when you're looking at its all-black screen and bezel.
If you've been on the fence about about picking up the white version of the Nexus 4 that just hit the store three days ago, the decision has been made for you if the sixteen gigger was your peach. As of this moment, Google is "temporarily out of stock" of the sparkly white flagship with 16GBs of storage, but if happen to think eight geebees may do the job, then you're still in luck.
