When the latest version of Android starts rolling out, it's well-known that the vast majority of devices out there will never get updated. It's not the best situation, but it's one that at this point in time, many of us go into knowingly. So you LG Intuition owners out there, you already know you're not going to see KitKat come to your device, but at least you will finally now be able to leave Ice Cream Sandwich behind. Read More
Owners of LG's Verizon-connected Intuition (otherwise known as the Optimus Vu) would be well-advised to avoid an update that began rolling out recently. The short version of this story is that the update is wreaking havoc on handsets –users who have already accepted the update are reporting constant app errors, an inability to connect to the Play Store, camera/gallery failure, and more. You can read users' impassioned responses to the flawed firmware here, here, and here. Read More
Verizon's LG Intuition has long been an awkward kid at the lunch table. With a 5" display at 4:3 resolution, it's had a difficult time being accepted, much less competing. Even so, it has not been completely forgotten – Verizon is preparing to roll out a maintenance update to the device that will remove the Color and V Cast apps, fix some assorted bugs, and should improve speakerphone quality. There is one curious detail to this update, it also adds the Amazon Appstore. Read More
Update: The price of the LG Intuition on Amazon has been dropped to a penny, a full $150 less than you'd pay at Verizon. We doubt this deal will last long, so if you're in the market for one (why?), now's the time to buy.

First off, you'll need a couple of things:

If you're a close follower of tech, you're probably familiar with the LG Intuition, or at least its European brother, the Optimus Vu. The major selling point: a 5", 1024x768 (4:3) display. Sure, the other specs are noteworthy in that they match other high-end phones, with a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU, 1GB RAM, Android 4.0, and LTE. But that massively wide screen is undoubtedly going to be the talking point. Read More
Do you like phones that look like they've been through a taffy puller? Then the LG Intuition (aka Optimus Vu) may be the phablet for you. The Intuition for Verizon was announced last week, and is available officially starting today, though Wirefly has (as usual) managed to offer it at a slightly more reasonable price: just $150 on contract (new agreement or upgrade). That's $50 less than Verizon is selling it for, so there's no denying it's a deal. Read More

Vu Intuition should be available for $199 with a two-year agreement ($549 off contract). Looks like this is as close as we're getting to a phablet on Verizon; unless, of course, the rumored 5" HTC monster becomes a reality.
