There's no doubt that the HTC Thunderbolt is a hot commodity if you're on Verizon Wireless, and if you've been considering picking up this blazing fast 4G LTE device, now might be the best time hop on it. Wirefly is offering up a special deal on the TBolt if you use coupon code THUNDER0418 at checkout, which gives you $50 off (bringing the total down to $150), free shipping, and a month of free mobile hotspot (expires on May 15th).

HTC just announced via Twitter that the Sensation is a go - posting pictures on its Facebook page of the device at various seductive angles, as well as this video:

Did we mention it's coming to T-Mobile? And it'll be sporting an HSPA+ radio to take advantage of T-Mobile's 4G network. Unfortunately, it won't be available until this summer.

Earlier, Mobile Bulgaria (which, as of this writing, is down) stumbled upon a Vodafone product page for HTC's upcoming dual-core Android handset, the Sensation (aka the Pyramid).

Skype

Well, well, well, look at what we've got here - it's none other than the elusive Skype for the HTC Thunderbolt! If you remember, Skype was supposed to be pre-installed on the Thunderbolt but didn't actually make it onto the final product. We also told you that Skype Mobile for Android with video was coming to all VZW LTE devices back in January, and it looks like we're finally getting what was promised.

This is for rooted users only.

We all want to squeeze every last little bit of juice out of our devices that we can, and if you happen to have a rooted HTC EVO 4G running an AOSP kernel (such as the one that ships with CyanogenMod), then XDA member -viperboy- just made your life a little bit better. Thanks to him, there is now an easy to way to undervolt your kernel, by way of four flashable .zip files.

Last we heard, Samsung's DROID Charge was scheduled to be released on April 7th - yesterday. Well needless to say, that date has come and gone without so much as a mention of Samsung's LTE handset; however, thanks to Sears, we now have a new timeline: April 14.

The leak also brings news that's bound to make HTC fans smile - the Incredible 2's release date has been rescheduled from April 28th to the 21st, a decidedly welcome change.

Like all good things Verizon, the HTC Incredible 2 didn't remain hidden from the public's eye for long; following the release of a leaked RUU and a Big Red roadmap confirming the device's impending launch, PocketNow got its paws on the following triad of press shots:

From the looks of it, the Incredible 2 will be virtually identical to HTC's popular Incredible S, with the exception of a Verizon logo and the inclusion of a CDMA radio.

It looks like it's Android season in Alltel country, because four new handsets have just dropped on the regional provider's network. As of right now, Alltel customers can choose between the Motorola Milestone X - most of us know this one as the Droid X, the LG Axis - a low-end phone with a full slide-out QWERTY, the Samsung Gem - a tiny Froyo starter phone, and the HTC Merge - a mid-range Froyo device with a slide-out QWERTY.

I remember when the original Droid came out and my mind was blown by this video of the OG solving a rubik's cube in 24 seconds. The same crew behind that vulgar display of awesome is back again, this time with an HTC Desire and the insane, 12 sided megaminx. Words really can't describe how cool this is, so check it out:

Simply called "The Megaminxer", this beastly contraption utilizes the Lego Mindstorm NXT as the brawn of the operation, while enlisting the superior power of the HTC Desire running a custom app as the brains.

It's not often that inhabitants of the True North are given the opportunity to purchase a half-decent phone before it lands in the US, but that's exactly the case with HTC's Incredible S - the magician of a handset is now available from both Bell and Virgin Mobile, with the former charging $99.95 and the latter upping the cost by just four cents. Of course, those price tags entail three-year contracts; if you want to buy the phone outright, you'll have to bear the expense of its full retail price - $499.95 if you're buying from Bell, or $499.99 if you choose Virgin Mobile.

MT3G Slide owners, you won't believe your eyes today. April Fool's has passed, and T-Mobile is not trolling you - the Froyo update is indeed available for the poor younger brother of the original myTouch 3G which already received Froyo almost 6 months ago. Don't let the name fool you, as there are, apparently, quite a few differences between the 2 devices - enough to tie up the release for such a long time.
