HTC has an above-average track record with software updates, but they appear to have misstepped with the most recent PRL version for the EVO 3D. For some unfathomable reason, said PRL (version number 50580) seems to be blocking Sprint's 3G network for a lot of users; as a result, they are left with no choice but to rely on the considerably slower 1xRTT technology (2G) for data.
Fortunately, there's still hope for those who unknowingly applied PRL 50580 - simply revert to the previous PRL (21081) using the instructions at Good and EVO. Read More

Finally! The long awaited Gingerbread update for both the Droid Incredible and ThunderBolt will be hitting the airwaves in September, according to HTC's official Twitter.
While several leaked Android 2.3.x builds for each device have surfaced over the past few months, none of them were deemed good enough to achieve "official" status, so it's good to know that HTC has finally put the finishing touches on each.
No solid date has been set, so just know that your waiting will finally come to an end within the next few weeks. Read More

Keep in mind that if you plan on making use of this process that it will likely void your warranty, so tread with caution. Read More
Shortly after the HTC Sensation was released, we covered a seemingly random issue with the touchscreen. Not all Sensation owners experienced this issue, and it's still relatively unknown what the exact cause of the problem is.
However, one of the theories formed on XDA is that it's a grounding issue on some devices. On others, though, the issue seems to be completely software related. If you can easily solve the problem by rebooting or a factory reset, then the fix outlined below will not work for you. Read More
Last week, Amazon Wireless had a deal going for the HTC EVO 3D where newcomers to the Now Network could score the device for $99. Also unlike Amazon Wireless' deal, current Sprint customers will only have to drop $100 with a contract renewal, saving around half of the retail cost. Read More
