You know what I hate about the Nexus 7? Nothing. But I dislike the limited amount of storage - 16GB just isn't enough, especially considering the size of games like Horn and The Bard's Tale. What I'd really like to see is a 32GB version of the device, and according to a leaked Carphone Warehouse screenshot that showed up over at Droid Life, that dream may actually come to fruition.

It's that time again - rumor time. This one's from our favorite "industry sources" rumor-monger, the venerable Digitimes. They're saying that, according to industry sources, Google is making two new models of the Nexus 7 that are expected to be thinner. Sounds credible.

They're also saying these two new tablets will be priced at $199 and $99, respectively, and will hit the market by the end of 2012.

Listen, we know Digitimes is incredibly hit and miss about this kind of stuff.

Hey, do you live in Japan? No? Well that's alright, because you'll still probably be happy to know that Google's first Nexus tablet is expanding its worldwide footprint, and this time it's headed to the land of the rising sun. This also seems to be confirmed on the Japanese Nexus splash page, which lists a price of 19,800 Japanese Yen for the 16GB model.

Japan joins the seven other countries the Nexus 7 is currently sold in - the US, UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, and Spain.

Thinking about picking up a Nexus 7? You might want to get on that before the end of this month (right here), as the $25 Play Store credit promotion Google announced with its slate at Google I/O expires on September 30th. That means you must redeem the promotion before that date by signing into your Nexus 7 with a Google Wallet-linked Google account (that has a credit or debit card on file).

When I first got my 16GB Nexus 7, it was fast. Probably faster than any other Android device I'd ever used. Everything was fluid, apps launched quickly, and transitioning between open applications was the best experience that I'd ever had on Android.

I was in love.

Then, a couple weeks ago, it inexplicably started to lag. A lot. I had just installed a test build of Horn, so I assumed that had something to do with it and uninstalled the game.

If you haven't already bought a Nexus 7, you're missing out. It's easily the best Android tablet on the market, bar none. For today only, you can score a 16GB Nexus 7 with official case and free shipping for $250. While the price isn't any different than the 16GB version directly from the Play Store, at least you're getting some freebies out of the deal - roughly a $30(ish) value.

One notable thing about this deal is that you have the choice of either a gray or blue case, the latter of which hasn't even arrived in the Play Store yet.

For some unknown reason, the tech world spent a lot of time over the weekend talking about an upcoming Toys-R-Us tablet for kids called the Tabeo. I'm assuming this is partly because the Wall Street Journal felt the subject was worth covering; past that, I honestly can't put my finger on why this caught anyone's attention. We decided to skip covering this rumor for a number of reasons, but the biggest one is because we wanted to wait for the official PR and spec sheet for the device.

Just days after we learned of an expanded international availability, another interesting bit of news may be on the way for the Nexus 7.

According to Paul O'Brien of MoDaCo, a "very well placed insider" has indicated that a 3G-connected variant of the device is on the horizon, expected to be ready for shipping "in around six weeks."

If you've been holding out on buying the Nexus 7 due to its WiFi-only capability, this may be the news you've been waiting for.

So, the long awaited title from Phosphor Games Horn is now available in the Play Store. It's an epic tale of a young boy who awakes to find himself in a Pylon-laden world. It's his job to destroy the beasts and turn them back into their former (human) selves. And it's awesome. Don't take my word for it though - check out our full review right here.

Horn has also been optimized for Tegra 3 devices, which really brings the environments and characters to life.
