Android Device Manager is Google's rather handy package of web and mobile software that allows you to remotely locate, ring, or lock your phone or tablet. Of course, it's not especially useful if it can't actually interact with your device. Most of the time errors are because a phone can't be reached via data, or because permission has been reset in the ADM app itself. But a small group of users are having trouble with getting ADM to recognize their devices at all. Read More
There have been a few rumors of a Samsung premium tablet refresh in recent weeks, and now it's official. The Galaxy Tab S2 is coming this August in 8.0-inch and 9.7-inch varieties. They've got more of a Galaxy S6 design vibe, and the screens are 4:3, just like the mid-range Galaxy Tab A. And of course, there are physical nav buttons on these tablets, because Samsung.
YouTube's Offline Playback feature was first introduced alongside Music Key back in November, finally giving people a way to store a (limited) selection of videos for trips into areas with poor connectivity, or just to avoid using up capped data plans. While it has remained mostly unchanged in the last 8 months, the latest update finally brings a few modifications. If you haven't been able to grab a free Google Cardboard VR headset from various trade shows, under-supplied OnePlus promotions, Conan O'Brien, or anyone else, there's one more option. FreeVRGoggles.com does what it says on the box, so to speak: if you're a United States resident over the age of 18, just enter an address and an email and they'll send you a free Google Cardboard unit.
