We've been hearing from a lot of companies hyping up their plans for Android 5.0 updates - at least one of them seems ready to start issuing it soon. But what of Samsung, the undisputed king of Android sales figures and, not least, one of the more (ahem) robust suppliers of add-on software and interfaces? Apparently the company is working swiftly on a Lollipop update. That Was Fast: Primecast Has Been Disabled And Removed From The Play Store After 36 Hours

Update: the developers of Primecast have confirmed to Android Police that they were "locked out" of the app's streaming functionality.

Don't say we didn't warn you. On Thursday we published a story about Primecast, an enterprising app that allowed Android users to log in to Amazon and stream Amazon Instant Video movies and television shows to Chromecast. Though Amazon has (finally) allowed non-Kindle Fire owners to watch their purchased or subscribed videos, they haven't enabled Chromecast like their competitors at Google, Netflix, and others.

Motorola Connect Update Adds Custom Watch Faces, Moto Body, And Support For A New 'Keylink' Accessory

Motorola started selling a few new color and band versions of the Moto 360 smartwatch this week, with more to come. At the same time a company representative promised new watch faces for existing users via a forthcoming update to the Motorola Connect app. That update seems to be here: version 2.02.21. In addition to faces added from the Motorola design competition back in June, the new app allows you to pick and choose colors and design elements for the default Motorola faces.

After both Runtastic and RunKeeper got updated with Google Fit integration in the past couple of weeks, it's Nike+' turn today. As one of Fit's initial launch partners, this update was expected and should come as a surprise to no one. All you have to do is launch the app once it's updated and follow the prompts to give it access to post its data to your Google Fit account. If you don't want to enable this feature, you can simply dismiss the prompt or later disable it under the app's settings.

Asus ZenWatch Coming To The US November 9th, Starting With Best Buy Priced At $199.99

Word has hit the street that the Asus ZenWatch will launch in the US on November 9th. Two days from now shoppers reportedly will be able to pick one up from Best Buy for $199.99, with Play Store availability coming at some point after.
