To help prepare hopeful attendees, the company has posted some new details and a few reminders. Like last year, you need both a Google+ account and Google Wallet account to make your purchase. Ticket prices are remaining steady at $900 for general admission and $300 for those that qualify for an academic discount.

Owners of LG's Verizon-connected Intuition (otherwise known as the Optimus Vu) would be well-advised to avoid an update that began rolling out recently. The short version of this story is that the update is wreaking havoc on handsets –users who have already accepted the update are reporting constant app errors, an inability to connect to the Play Store, camera/gallery failure, and more. You can read users' impassioned responses to the flawed firmware here, here, and here.

When it comes to device protection, there is no shortage of options out there on the great wide internet. With enough digging, you can find almost any different style of case you can think of, be it an on-device super-thin case, something ultra-durable, or a simple sleeve.  If you're looking for something along the lines of the latter for your Nexus 4, Galaxy S III, or Galaxy Note 10.1, look no further than the just-announced Durables Wallet and Sleeve from DODOcase.

Tomorrow, Facebook is expected to announce some major changes to its News Feed. This has been a long time in coming and many people agree that, compared to the growing competition amongst modern social networks, the News Feed is one of the oldest, stalest, and ugliest presentations of information around. Okay, maybe it's not that bad, but it could use a refresher, so we're all eagerly awaiting the chang-Oh hey look new Google+ features!

If you've been patiently waiting for the sequel to popular top-down shooter Gun Bros, the wait is over. After teasing the release, Glu Mobile posted the game on the Play Store earlier today, giving Android the closest thing it's going to get to Gears of War for the foreseeable future. It's a free download, compatible with Android 2.1 and up, though the more advanced 3D graphics mean that older devices may struggle to run it smoothly.

AT&T started pushing Jelly Bean (4.1.2) to its variant of the Xperia T (the TL) earlier this month, but Rogers apparently wasn't far behind. The Canadian carrier just made the update available to its Xperia T, which should bring all the same goodies that the AT&T and International versions already have. Namely:

        • Updated, more intuitive versions of Sony Media apps: WALKMAN, Album and Movies
Lets you view and access all your photos, videos and tunes in one place.
