Blowing stuff up is a classic gaming trope, but few series have done it as well, or as consistently as Serious Sam. What started as a mindless, frantic killing-spree has evolved into a more attractive, high-resolution killing-spree. There's no covers system and no regenerating shields – this is serious business. In the newest deal from Humble Bundle, you can get up to seven Serious Sam titles plus the original public test edition for one low price of your choosing.

Facebook and Facebook Home for Android received a significant update today (though the update is, you guessed it, on a staged rollout), adding a few significant features. The Facebook app now allows insertion of multiple photos into chat messages (previously it allowed only one per message), and on-the-fly tuning of your post sharing settings - something many people are likely to enjoy.

Facebook home has a brand-new 'favorites tray' area in the launcher, allowing you keep a few select apps handy on your homescreen by dragging them into the tray area. The Facebook Home update is included in the main Facebook update, so Facebook Home will not have to be updated separately.

After a short beta period, notable Twitter client Falcon Pro has gotten its big update to version 2.0. The headlining feature in this update is the new multi-account support, but there are a few more goodies in there.

BlackBerry announced last month that its beloved BlackBerry Messenger service would be coming to Android. Although, the company didn't offer a date when BBM would be available. Don't tell T-Mobile UK any of your secrets, because it just let it slip on Twitter that the big day is June 27th.

Sprint announced the Optimus F3 this morning, a very boring little phone you probably couldn't care less about, and I don't blame you. What you should care about, though, is what's going on in the official press photos below. Look closely at the one on the left.

Why yes, that is a slightly older version of TouchWiz (Nature UX 1.0, if I'm not mistaken) that this Optimus F3 is running! Sprint has either managed to unearth the world's first LG phone with TouchWiz, or someone done goofed at some point.

A to-do list/syncing note application and reminders go together like egg and cress. It makes you wonder why Evernote hasn't included a reminder/alarm function until now, but whatever the reason, it's been added in the 5.1 Android app update. Just tap the alarm icon on a new note to add one. Reminders for notes or events go in the greater "My Notes" list, allowing you to mark them off as you complete them. Android notifications will keep you up to speed on your approaching deadlines, and you can add email reminders as well.

Evernote's visual design is worthy of attention here.

If you've been searching for a low-cost Android device on the Now Network, LG has got you covered. The previously leaked LG Optimus F3 is now official on Sprint, and it clocks in at just $29.99 after a 2-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate. That makes it the least expensive LTE handset on Sprint.

Remember when Samsung promised to investigate the possibility of freeing up storage space on the software-heavy Galaxy S4? It turns out that's easier said than done. Case in point: the latest software update for the international Snapdragon-powered GT-i9505 (I9505XXUBMEA), which SamMobile spotted being sent to at least some GS4 owners in Germany. The updated firmware clears up 80MB of space, which is nice, but doesn't really put a dent in the nearly 7GB of system files.

To try and make up for this, Samsung is going a different route. Apps can now be moved to the external SD card natively, a feature that Google itself abandoned back in Android 4.1.

Mobile-focused Bluetooth speakers have become all the rage these days, and London-based Cambridge Audio has thrown its hat into the ring with a compelling all-in-one speaker. They're calling it the Minx Go, and next to other high-fidelity, battery-powered Bluetooth models, it compares well for both features and price. The Minx Go includes no less than five integrated speakers (two tweeters, two woofers, and an auxiliary bass radiator) hiding behind its grill, and a claimed battery life of 18 hours.

The practical design of the Minx Go is pretty standard: it's a nearly featureless white or black box with power and volume buttons, and not much else.

Gameloft

Gameloft is preparing to unveil the newest incarnation of it's popular and totally original first-person shooter franchise Modern Combat. We can glean several things from the trailer: there will be guns, there will be helicopters, and oh my god the graphics.

This trailer is obviously designed to look as good as it possibly can, but it does seem to be a cut above Gameloft's previous efforts. The level of detail is impressive and texture resolution is very high. If there is a dead giveaway you're gaming on a mobile device, it will be the physics performance, which has always felt lacking in Gameloft titles.
