Word Lens Finally Comes To Android, And It Works Surprisingly Well As Long As You Aren't Epileptic [Hands-On]

I first saw Word Lens for iOS on TechCrunch back in 2010 and instantly fell in love with the concept - just point the camera at foreign words, and all of them get translated in front of your very eyes, live. Amazing, isn't it? If you haven't seen this promo video yet, watch it first:

Every month since, I searched the Play Store for Word Lens, hoping its developers brought it to our favorite OS, but found nothing.

[New App] Ringtonium Is An Absolutely Gorgeous Ringtone Editing App

I have a confession to make: I don't use ringtones. Most of the time, my phone is on vibrate, and when it's not, I insist that my ringtones actually ring. However, if I were to use custom ringtones, Ringtonium is the app I'd use to set them up. This app is beautiful. In a way that few apps are. The interface is brilliantly easy to use and accessible to even the most tech illiterate users.

[New Game] Popular iOS Game Ski Safari Arrives On Android, And It Rocks

You may remember a wonderful little free physics game called Rocket Bunnies from a while back. Similarly, there was a cool RPG known as Heroes Call that came out not too long ago. The developer behind both these games is Defiant Development, and now they've brought the popular iOS game Ski Safari to Android.

In Ski Safari, you play the roll of Sven, who finds himself in the unenviable position of skiing down a hillside to keep ahead of an avalanche.

CyanogenMod Team Talks Jelly Bean, And We Like What We're Hearing

When Jelly Bean was announced, it's as if you could hear the entire Android community speak in unison: CM10! Anyone who has been around the block a time or two knows, though, you just don't ask for ETAs on CM builds. Of course, it wouldn't really matter if you did at this point - the JB source code isn't even available yet. However, the CyanogenMod Team took the time to address many of the questions on everyone's minds on their G+ earlier today, and we have to admit - it all sounds pretty good.

Draw Race 2 Lets You Feel All The Thrill Of Racing In Your Finger Tip

Hey guys! It's a game that's not tower defense or puzzle-themed! Draw Race 2 is a new take on the racing game genre. Whereas most racing games on mobile devices use your accelerometer for steering, Draw Race 2 opts for a top-down view, tracing the race track to direct your vehicle. It's certainly a novel approach to the problem of racing controls on mobile devices.

The apparent second version of this game includes tons of challenges and skill games to test your ability to run your finger around your screen.
