[Rumor] Google's New Launcher In Android 4.4 Is Called 'Google Experience' - Here Are Some Things We Are Expecting To See In It

Several days ago, I started a series of rumor posts on my personal Google+ account discussing some Android rumors I felt were interesting enough to share, but didn't feel confident enough yet to do so here on the site. The posts were heavily prefixed with disclaimers that none of them may turn out to be true but that I had a certain level of confidence to talk about them in public unofficially.

Home Button Branding Isn't Dead Yet: Evleaks Reveals The Galaxy S4 Mini For Verizon

After dropping the Xperia Z1 for T-Mobile on us this morning, @evleaks has revealed another upcoming Android handset headed to a US carrier near you; namely, the Galaxy S4 Mini for Verizon.

Now, I'm not entirely sure we can be 100% positive this is for Verizon, but oh wait, the home button has a not at all conspicuous Verizon logo!

Leak: Evleaks Shows Off The Xperia Z1 For T-Mobile

Are you holding out for a stateside release of Sony's new flagship, the Xperia Z1? It appears hope may finally be on the horizon, at least if T-Mobile is an option for you. @evleaks just released a photo of what looks to be an Xperia Z1 headed to America's pinkest carrier, courtesy of a bit of T-Mobile branding along the bottom. Take a looksee.

We had some time with the Z1 back at IFA in September, but as seems to be the case with nearly every Sony phone lately, an American launch wasn't announced or even suggested at the time.

A batch of images purporting to be from Android 4.4 running on a Nexus 5 have shown up online, and they confirm a lot of things we've been hearing. This isn't a complete rethinking of Android, but it looks like many parts of the UI will be tweaked this time around.

More Nexus And KitKat Images Leaked, Confirm Tap & Pay, Revamped Location Settings, And New Recent Location Requests History Page

Another day, another set of leaked images exposing what we can expect to see in Android 4.4 "KitKat." These images sprung up on Tutto Android, a popular Italian Android blog, and they largely confirm the location-related changes we detailed yesterday. First, the current Location access screen will, presumably, simply be called Location. On this screen the checkboxes labeled GPS Satellites and Wi-Fi & mobile network location have been removed and are replaced with more simplified options that replicate the same functionality: High accuracy, battery saving, and device sensors.

Leaked Sprint Galaxy S4 Mini Press Images Pop Up, Release Probably Won't Be Too Far Off Now

Okay, okay, there are many reasons not to be interested in this story, and I'm going to acknowledge these right off the bat. The Galaxy S4 Mini is not exactly a new device anymore, and it wasn't nearly as powerful as the flagship device it's based on even when it was. Likewise, people aren't likely to turn to Sprint in search of a speedy network connection. In a way, the device and the carrier are a match made in heaven.

Whatchu Taco About: Alleged Leak Of Samsung's Curved Phone Shows S4 Aesthetics, Tortilla Sensibilities [Update: Another Pic And More Info]

Noted leaker and poster of pictures @evleaks just released an image that appears to show an unannounced Samsung Galaxy phone with a curved AMOLED screen. Past devices with curved glass, like the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S, have had curves running from top to bottom. Not this one, though. Samsung's next device may sport a left to right curve, which makes it look kind of like a soggy taco shell.

The last round of vague hints from Samsung had this device pegged for an October release in South Korea, but nothing beyond that.
