The worst kept secret in the history of Nexus devices just keeps on giving, and this time it looks like we have unofficial confirmation that LG's new device will indeed be called "Nexus 4".

Employees from LG and Google have both uploaded photos to Google+ using the unreleased device, and the EXIF information for the shots both call the camera that has been used 'Nexus 4'.

Both of the photos were taken on Saturday, and uploaded to the social network over the weekend.

Back when Motorola announced the RAZR M, HD, and  MAXX HD, they promised Jelly Bean before the end of the year. Looks like the M may be first on the list to get the update, because a leaked build (4.1.1/9.8.1Q_25/35) showed up online last night. We chose to hold off on posting, as Artem started this thread on XDA so we could get some feedback before telling users to flash a buggy or incomplete ROM.

If you had  your doubts before, they should be all but settled. The rumored LG Nexus phone that we saw the other day has changed hands and re-appeared in high-quality photos on Onliner. Of course, these aren't actually designed for release to the media, as the device still has "Not for sale" emblazoned over the back, indicating that this is a prototype and not a consumer-ready model. However, there is no shortage of brightly lit angles and, for some reason, the phone held up next to a stuffed parrot.

Yesterday, JK Shin, head of Samsung Mobile Communications, said that the company would be announcing the Galaxy S III Mini in Frankfurt, Germany on October 11th. Looks like we don't have to wait another 24 to get the full skinny, however, as alleged details of the device have already made their way to the internet.

While many users were expecting full GSIII hardware in a smaller package, that doesn't look like it's going to be the case if today's leak is to be believed:

  • 4" WVGA Super AMOLED Display
  • 1GHz dual-core processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 5MP rear shooter
  • 16GB built-in storage, microSD card slot
  • NFC
  • 1,500mAh battery
  • Android 4.1

Basically, this is just another mid-ranger that Samsung managed to create some hype around by slapping the "Galaxy S III" name onto it.

Oh, look - another LG Nexus leak! I'm already convinced that this is the worst kept secret in Nexus history. Alas, the shiny little beast has made its way into Carphone Warehouse's inventory system as the "LGNexus4," and it looks like we'll be seeing two color variations of the device: white and black.

While we've heard the device could be called the "LG Optimus G Nexus" (effectively making it the worst Nexus name in the history of everything), rumors are still flying around every day.

Soon after Motorola revised its software upgrade timeline, changing the original Atrix 4G's ICS ETA from Q3 2012 to a disheartening "further plans coming soon," a leaked Ice Cream Sandwich build has cropped up on XDA's forums. If you're the owner of an Atrix 4G and you're tired of waiting, there's good news - the leak, which carries an August build date, can be downloaded and installed on your device in just a few easy steps.

At this point, we've all seen the shiny, glistening, sparkly LG Nexus. Opinions of the look seem to be split right down the middle - some users love it, while others can't stand the thing. Personally, I'm on the fence about it, and I'm equally as skeptical if this is even the final design. For all we know, the prototype was designed this way on purpose so everyone would wonder what Google is thinking (hey, it could happen).

Earlier this evening, we ran a story containing photos of a purported LG Nexus device obtained (and subsequently photographed) by an XDA user. The photos, along with subtle hints like the presence of a Qualcomm modem and kernel, and the presence of a corroborating FCC filing, had us leaning toward the "legit" side of the rumor spectrum.

Now, it looks like a user of a Belarusian forum called Baraholka (which roughly translates to "flea market") has more photos of the device, posted last week – this time lacking what appeared in previous photos to be a shell or casing that disguised the device's real curves (similar to the case we saw on early Galaxy SIII units).

We've been hearing rumors about an LG Nexus for a while now. At first, we were skeptical. However, as the evidence piles up, we're becoming increasingly convinced that this rumor is indeed legit.

Now, a set of photos have surfaced over at the XDA forums that appear to seal the deal.

The first thing you'll probably want to check out in the above shots is the About screen.

The rumor mill is going strong with Nexus hearsay now, and Android & Me is currently leading the pack with details about the upcoming version of Android and at least one of the devices that will run it. Thanks to "an inside source" A&M is reporting more details about the "customization center," updates to Google Play and Now, and a new feature called "Project Roadrunner" that we haven't previously heard of.
