Leak Indicates 16 Megapixel Camera And 'Invisible' Shutter Button On Samsung Galaxy S5

The Galaxy S5 may or may not be coming to Samsung's Unpacked event in Barcelona, but reliable leak source SamMobile thinks it is. The specialist site is reporting a series of leaks for the camera in Samsung's next flagship, starting with its sensor, a new 16-megapixel module. That would give the S5 more photo fidelity than the current Galaxy S4 and Note 3, but still it would still lag behind Sony's best-in-class 20.7MP sensor.

While photos of upcoming flagships from Samsung and other major manufacturers remain elusive, hardware leaks from HTC have been coming in steadily for the last few weeks. Evleaks says it will be called "The All New HTC One," foregoing any kind of sequel moniker.

Another Leaked HTC M8 Image Comes To Us Via @evleaks, And This Time The Phone's In A Case

The leaks of the HTC M8 keep rolling in. The latest one comes to us courtesy of @evleaks, and it shows a possible black version of HTC's upcoming flagship with the new Sense 6. Oh, and it's in a case. Though it looks like there's nothing behind the cutout on the upper right side, so as usual, make of these leaks what you will.

At this point, we've seen enough to expect another unibody phone made of aluminum, only this time the handset's packing not one, but two rear-facing cameras.

Numerous Alleged Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 Press Renders Leak Onto Twitter

Update: @evleaks may not have been the first one to get pictures of the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 out, but better late than never (if you could even really call this late). Here he is with an image that looks to confirm what @gadgetleaks has shared.

Earlier today @evleaks shared information on Sony's upcoming Xperia Tablet Z2. If his intel is accurate, the sequel to last year's tablet will come with a 10.1" 1920x1200 display, a Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 6000mAh battery, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, and KitKat.

A new report from SamMobile claims to confirm that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 will indeed have a fingerprint sensor. Not only that, the leaked information has a lot to say about how the feature will work. According to SamMobile, the sensor is going to be integrated with the home button, and yes, that means there will still be physical buttons on the Galaxy S5.

Unlike Apple's Touch ID scanner, Samsung's version will require you to swipe your finger across the home button while keeping it flat.

Latest Xperia D6503 Sirius Video Shows Off Everything The Software Has To Hide

At this point pretty much everything about Sony's next flagship phone has been spoiled except for the name. The Xperia D6503 "Sirius," which will almost certainly be getting a much less interesting title when it's officially revealed, has had multiple large leaks. A new 12-minute video shows off pretty much everything about the included software.

The video comes from the same YouTube user who posted the last big leak, and it looks like it's the same phone running the same software.

Leaked Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 Specs From @evleaks Include Snapdragon 800, 10.1-inch 1920x1200 LCD, And 6,000mAh Battery

A bit of new information out of @evleaks points to possible specs for the still unannounced Sony Xperia Tablet Z2. The first one was a big departure for Sony's past tablet designs, but it was also a good device. If the leaked specs are to be believed, the sequel is going to be a lot like the first one – a little too much like it, perhaps.

Rumor: T-Mobile Jump Plans Will Include [More?] Tablets, Change Upgrade Threshold To Price Model Instead Of Time

According to TmoNews, Americas magenta-est carrier (and don't you forget it!) will unveil some changes to the company's JUMP! device installment plans on February 23rd, and while they're heavy on "unlimited" language, the plans are actually getting a bit more restrictive for customers.

First, in the "good news" departments, tablets are joining the JUMP! family of devices, so you'll soon be able to finance a tablet from T-Mobile. Which if that's something you, you know, want, sounds good.
