Looks Like Verizon Will Be Getting A Third-Generation LG Lucid, Because Why Not

While it's probably safe to assume the bulk of our readers are after the highest-end handset out when upgrade time comes, there's undoubtedly also those who need to stay on a budget. LG's Lucid was a handset that I feel like helped spark a new era for the budget market: affordable phones that don't completely suck. Verizon must've felt the same way, because the Lucid saw a sequel with last year's aptly-name Lucid 2.

Our friends across the pond will no longer have to resort to importing a Chromecast from the US as of March 19th. That's apparently the day Google's streaming dongle is set to hit shelves in the UK. At least one retailer already has the device in stock and has alerted employees to the impeding launch.

Samsung appears to be in full-on product carpet-bombing mode when it comes to wearables, as Samsung-thing-that-goes-on-your-wrist #4 has been detailed in a new leak by SamMobile, and it's called the S Band.

Now, you may say, "S Band? That sounds familiar" and you would be right, it should indeed ring a bell or two! Because Samsung initially unveiled a product called the S Band alongside the Galaxy S4... last year.

Possible Amazon Game Controller Spotted In Brazil, Complete With Android Nav Buttons

Amazon has been expanding into just about every possible media sales segment in the last few years, with one notable exception: console-style video games. If a filing with the Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (read: the Brazilian version of the FCC) can be believed, Amazon is looking to close that gap in its product lineup. A full game controller, with media controls and Android-style navigation buttons, was spotted there by Zatz Not Funny.

Leaked Ad Says The Secondary Camera On The New HTC One (M8) Is For Low-Light Shooting

We've been wondering what that second camera on the back of the HTC M8 (a.k.a. "The All New HTC One") was all about since the first leaks arrived. If an Australian Telstra ad for the new device is to be believed, it is indeed intended to bolster the phone's low-light shooting performance. The advertisement spotted by GSMArena reveals a few things that we didn't already know, and it does indicate that the "Duo Camera" can "create vivid images even in low light."

Low light photography is always tricky, and it's particularly difficult on mobile cameras thanks to their generally small sensors and lenses.

That may be the case with ZTE's unannounced Grand S EXT, which has shown up on the Red-Dot 21 design directory.

Another week closer to HTC's big New York event, another huge leak from the indefatigable Evleaks. This time he's taken to Google+ to show off what looks like a first-party case for the HTC M8 (a.k.a. "The New HTC One"). This case it unlike any we've seen thus far: instead of a transparent "window" like the ones that Samsung and LG have been using for their flagships, this one appears to be covered in tiny holes, allowing the screen below to flash simple messages.

The Still Unannounced New HTC One (M8) Appears In 12 Minute Video "Review"

HTC isn't expected to announce the new HTC One until late March, but press renders of the device have already been circulating online. Now things have gotten even leakier with a 12-minute video showing all the angles of the device, as well as some of the software.

Based on what can be seen in the video, HTC's new flagship definitely has a more round appearance and plenty of KitKat transparency with the on-screen buttons and colorful status bar.
