If you were hoping to see a phablet device like the Samsung Galaxy Note on Verizon, Big Red's upcoming device is going to technically fit the bill. Except instead of the enjoyable, well designed, and globally acclaimed device, you will get this horrendous boxy eyesore, complete with a 4:3 CRT-like aspect ratio: the LG Optimus Vu.

Here it is, in all its glory monstrosity, next to... yup, the 4.8" Galaxy S III.

[Exclusive Photos] This Is The Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

The news that one of the hottest phones of the year, the 4.8" Samsung Galaxy S III, is coming to five major U.S. carriers only just hit the wire a few minutes ago, and well, well, well, what do we have here?.. Why, it's the Galaxy S III on Verizon Wireless, in its blurry flesh.

Since Samsung didn't send out any carrier-specific device photos and just regurgitated the pictures of the international version we've all seen hundreds of times, we're at the mercy of the carriers to see just how they bastardize (or leave untouched) the outer shell of each variant.

[Exclusive] How To Root The AT&T HTC One X On Version 1.85 (Or Earlier)

While giving the AT&T HTC One X's firmware a look over, I ran across a a vulnerability that would allow us to gain root access. It turned out not to be all that useful at the time, as another root was released the same day. With the latest 1.85 firmware leak, the previously published root has been fixed, making the one I found earlier useful once again.

Update: AT&T disabled the app installation features of Ready2Go thereby breaking this root process.

[Exclusive Download] Official Ice Cream Sandwich Build 3.13.605.7 (Android 4.0.3) For The HTC Rezound

Back in mid-March, we gave Rezound owners their first taste of Ice Cream Sandwich. Now, we've gotten our hands on a newer build (3.13.605.7, Android 4.0.3) that should fix several of the quirks that were present in our previous leak, as well as bring new radios to the table. Up to this point, the only thing we've know about the HTC Incredible 4G is... well, not much. Thanks to a trusted source, however, we now not only have more information about the device, but some images to go along with it.

[Exclusive] Pantech Burst Rooted, And The Process Is Stupid-Easy

At CES this year, Pantech announced the Burst, its first smartphone to run on AT&T's LTE network. At a measly fifty bones with a two-year contract, its 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage give this little device quite a bang for the buck.

As such, quite a few people may be temped to scoop this little guy up, but there's one major drawback for many users: lack of developer support.

Ice Cream Sandwich. It's more than a buzzword in the Android community right now - it's what most users are waiting for in one way or another. Some are waiting on the update to roll out to their device, while others are still waiting to find out if their device will even get the update. For HTC Rezound users, however, the wait ends today - as long as they're willing to flash a leaked firmware, that is.

[Exclusive] Developer Codes Left In Retail ZTE Avail (AT&T) Offer Quick And Easy Root Access

New root methods show up all the time, so it's not a huge deal that a rather unknown phone on AT&T is now rooted. So why are we posting about it? Because the root method used is, well... interesting.

It was uncovered by our own Justin Case from TeamAndIRC, and while a big part of the process will look very familiar to some of you, there is one step that induces a wait, what?
