Android 7.1 Developer Preview 1 (NPF10C) is now available for the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, and Pixel C

Google promised a developer preview of Android 7.1 before the end of the month, and here it is sooner than you might have expected. Android 7.1 ships on the Pixel, but now you can try it on the Nexus 5X, 6P, and Pixel C. If you want in, head to the Android beta program page.

T-Mobile is rolling out updates to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge with security patches, Samsung Cloud, and more

Owners of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on T-Mobile aren't getting Nougat yet, but at least they aren't being left completely out of the update fun. An OTA is rolling out to both phones that includes newer security patches, Samsung's own online backup system, and a myriad of little tweaks.

OxygenOS 3.2.6 rolling out to the OnePlus 3 with a ton of fixes for the camera, Bluetooth, and more

OnePlus is busy with community builds of OxygenOS that will eventually merge it with the code base of HydrogenOS, but work has not stopped on the stable version of the software. OxygenOS 3.2.6 (still Marshmallow) is official for the OnePlus 3. This OTA brings a lot of small improvements and bug fixes, and as usual, it's rolling out in waves.

Xperia C5 and C5 Ultra receive update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The Xperia C5 Ultra launched last year with Android Lollipop, as in 5.0. An over-the-air update to Android 5.1 arrived this past January. Eight months later, Sony is pushing the device up to Marshmallow.

Cyanogen OS 13 is rolling out to the Wileyfox Spark and Spark+

There aren't a ton of devices running the commercial Cyanogen OS ROM these days, but the Wileyfox Spark and Spark+ are two of the most prominent (which really tells you something). These UK phones launched with Cyanogen OS 12 (Lollipop) earlier this year, but now Cyanogen OS 13 is finally rolling out.

OnePlus releases new OxygenOS community builds for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus X

OnePlus is continuing its efforts to merge HydrogenOS and OxygenOS into a single, unified build of Android. There are new community builds of OxygenOS for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus X. Neither one includes a jump to Nougat, but there are some new features.

New OTAs for the SHIELD Tablet and SHIELD Tablet K1 offer July security patches and bug fixes

NVIDIA is pretty good about regular updates for its SHIELD line, and the Tablet twins are the recipients of the latest bumps. Update version 4.3 for the original SHIELD Tablet (the one with the stylus) and 1.4 for the newer SHIELD Tablet K1 are basically identical, and in both cases the biggest addition is an update to Android 6.0 that brings the security patches to July of this year. [Update: Security bulletin is live] Nexus factory images and full system OTAs are now available with September's security updates, still missing Nougat images for the Nexus 6P, 6, and 9 LTE

The first round of security updates for Nougat is ready. It has only been eleven days since the official release of Android 7.0, but keeping with the regular schedule, new factory images and full system OTAs are now available for installation. There are also Marshmallow-based images with the latest security updates for many devices, including the Nexus 5, which will no longer officially receive major version updates. (Note: it looks like the OTA page lists the new updates, but the files aren't linked properly.

ASUS finally updates the ZenFone 2 (ZE550ML, ZE551ML) to Marshmallow

One week after Google officially released Android 7.0 Nougat, ASUS has finally upgraded the ZE551ML model of the ZenFone 2 to 6.0 Marshmallow. ASUS had originally promised that the ZenFone 2 would receive Marshmallow before the end of Q2 2016, but that deadline was clearly ignored.
