Android 4.3 Starts Rolling Out To AT&T HTC One As OTA Update To Software Version 3.17.502.3

By now we all know that HTC promised to have Android 4.3 ready for American HTC Ones by the end of September and have gotten over the disappointment in whatever way works for each of us. Sprint customers have fared the best so far, as their update started rolling out only a few days after the missed deadline. Now AT&T customers are having their day in the sun. HTC Americas president Jason Mackenzie has sent out a tweet announcing that the update has already started shipping out to users.

Google Glass XE10 Update Released: Transit Directions, Support For Links In Notifications, Avatars In Messages / Comments

Google's just posted up the release notes for the latest monthly Glass update - XE10 - and it brings a few significant new features. First among them is transit directions, which is pretty self-explanatory. Here's what that looks like, along with another new feature, avatars in messages and comments.

Avatars certainly decrease the blandness of the messaging interface, and hey, maybe you forgot who you were messaging and need a visual cue to remember who this person is, or something.

WiFi-Only Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Finally Receiving Android 4.2.2 Via OTA And Kies In The US

Reports have been circulating for the last week or so that the Android 4.2.2 bits were arriving on WiFi-only Note 8.0 devices, but now the floodgates appear to have opened. Almost all Note 8.0 units in the US should now be able to get the update in the system menu or by connecting to Samsung's Kies software.

AT&T Is The Next Carrier Rolling Out The Big Moto X Update With Improvements To The Camera, Touchless Control, And More

Sprint just surprised everyone by being the first US carrier to roll out the Android 4.3 update to the HTC One, just missing the September deadline by a hair. But not everyone owns HTC's latest flagship, so it's nice to see that the One isn't the only device having all the fun (granted, it's having most of it). The HTC Evo 4G LTE is also getting an update today, and while it may not be anything nearly as exciting as the jump to Android 4.3, it's better than nothing.

Android 4.3 Update Rolling Out Now To HTC One Developer Edition Users, Jumps From Version 1.29.1540.17 To 3.22.1540.1

HTC Americas President Jason Mackenzie got HTC One owners' hopes up a few days ago when he tweeted that the long-awaited Android 4.3 update was scheduled to roll out within the span of a week. These updates are aimed at the developer edition of the HTC One along with HTC Ones distributed by Canadian carriers. While we're still waiting on the latter, the former has arrived.
