While the official OTA update to Android 4.2.2 began rolling out to the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, 7, and 10 last night, you may not have received it yet. We already posted a link for the Galaxy Nexus takju build, but now we've got a couple more to share.

Update: JDQ39 from JOP40F for the Nexus 10 added.

  • Nexus 7: Android 4.2.2 update (JDQ39 from JOP40D, 47.7MB) (Note: Wi-Fi model only, aka grouper/nakasi)
  • Nexus 10:

Your device needs to be running the JOP40D build in order to flash the updates, doing so from another build will probably just fail, but we wouldn't attempt it either way.

If you're the owner of an LG myTouch or myTouch Q, you'll be receiving a small OTA update in the neat future that adds some "security enhancements" to your device. And that means you'll probably lose root. The update version for the myTouch is V10u-FEB-11-2013, and the myTouch Q is LGC800-V10x-FEB-11-2013. Both updates around 2MB in size, so you can rest assured that the changes are indeed quite minor.

Update: We've heard from US Cellular that the rollout will begin on February 12th - apparently someone jumped the gun on the update page.

After promising to do so in Q1 2013 back in December, Motorola has officially begun rolling out Android 4.1.2 to the Electrify M on US Cellular. The Electrify M is basically a de-Verizoned RAZR M, so it makes sense that the Electrify's update follows after its DROID kin's.

After an initial debut in France, Motorola has begun distributing the Android 4.1 update to RAZR i handsets in the UK today. Just hit that 'Check for update' button as often as possible over the next week or two, and you should be able to get it. Here's Motorola's statement on the rollout.

We’re excited to announce that MOTOROLA RAZR™ i with Intel Inside is getting upgraded to Android™ 4.1 Jelly Bean.

If you own a French RAZR i, time to start hitting that 'check update' button. The update to Android 4.1.2 is officially beginning to roll out, and in Q1 2013 - as promised.

If you want the update right now, but are afraid of losing root, there's good news on that front, too: you can. The new root instructions and files are located here. An updated, pre-rooted fastboot file can be found here, which should put your unlocked RAZR i on French firmware.

The official OTA update to Android 4.2 for the Sprint Galaxy Nexus has just hit Google's servers, and you can grab the build (GA02) right now. Here's a direct download link, originally found on XDA. Sextape at SXTP Developers posted yesterday indicating that a leaked version of this build would end up as the final OTA release. Here's the detailed build info:

So, now you're wondering how you go about flashing this build, right?

If you're the lucky (debatable) owner of a Verizon Galaxy Tab 7.7 or LG Lucid, good news - you're about to get an OTA update! Verizon just posted new update docs on its support site for both devices.

The Tab 7.7's update is about as minor as you can get, though, offering reduced electrical consumption when charging... while powered off. We're guessing that's not what this update is actually about though.

If you have a Motorola Photon Q, time to start the ritualistic checking for updates: a new OTA is headed out this morning. Software version 7.7.1Q-6_SPR-125_ASA-14, the first update since the ASA-10 maintenance release in October, will get your Q running the latest and greatest. And no, it's not Jelly Bean (though the Q will be getting Jelly Bean... at some point). The changelog isn't much of a log, either:

- Various fixes to improve overall device stability

But hey, bug fixes are bug fixes, and that's probably going to make someone somewhere happy.

We're hearing from tipsters, as well as over on XDA, that HTC has begun the wide rollout of Android 4.1 for a large number of HTC One S devices, all of which seem to be WWE handsets ("WorldWide English"), which are sold by and large in European markets. The software version is 3.16.401.8, and the full update file can be found here, direct from HTC. The size of the update is a staggering 612MB.

While I can't say I know anyone that has a Padfone 2, if you do, and you have a WWE or Hong Kong version of the device, you can get the official update to Android 4.1 right now. You can grab the full firmware files (V10.4.5.36) here. The changelog, below.

Changelog
1. Upgraded to Android OS 4.1.1
2. Improved USB Internet Sharing to avoid disconnection
3. Improved the device’s audio quality
4.
