[Deal Alert] Lenovo Ideapad A1 16GB For $199 From Amazon ($50 Off)

With the Ideapad A1, Lenovo made it easy for those on a tight budget to get a tablet. Sure, it's no Galaxy Tab 10.1 or Transformer, but for kicking back on the couch and surfing the web, watching videos, or playing a game to kill some time, it's just what the doctor ordered. There are two versions available in the US -- 16GB and 32GB -- and the former just underwent a pricedrop over at Amazon.

[Deal Alert] Adorama Offering 8GB 1GHz And 16GB 1.5GHz Archos 80 G9 Dual-Core Tablets For $250 Each (That's $50 And $80 Off, Respectively)

Adorama, one of the more popular online purveyors of photo equipment (and other electronics), are offering a couple of awesome deals on Archos' 80 G9 tablets, selling the dual-core 1GHz 8GB model, as well as its 1.5GHz, 16GB counterpart for $250 each. [Deal Alert] Vizio 8-Inch VTAB1008 Tablet $199 With Free Shipping From Amazon

Remember that weird little Vizio tablet that was released back in July? Yeah, the one that works as a remote control for your Vizio Google TV. I feel like I'm not alone in thinking that it was slightly under-spec'd and drastically overpriced at launch, even if you can justify its use with your TV. Fortunately, Amazon has taken care of the latter issue by dropping the price down to a much more reasonable $199 with free shipping.

[Deal Alert] Amazon Gold Box Deal Of The Day: BodyMedia FIT Armband Weight Management System For $140 - Wirelessly Syncs Calorie Information With Your Android Device

It's a pretty well known fact that, when trying to lose weight, you have to create a caloric deficit -- for every 3500 calories burned, that's one pound of weight lost. Thus, it takes a combination of diet and exercise to create said deficit. However, it is exceedingly difficult to keep track of your caloric intake, as well as calculate the calories burned for various activities. If you're serious about getting in shape, though, there is a solution: using an automatic body monitoring system like BodyMedia's FIT Armband.

[Updated: Permissions Explained] Deal Of The Day: OfficeSuite Pro 5 Is Free At The Amazon Appstore Today (Normally $15)

I don't usually post Amazon Appstore apps outside of our social media accounts, but today I felt compelled. There are a few options when it comes to office replacement apps that can read and write all your docs, presentations, and spreadsheets - most of them costing over $10. I've been eyeing OfficeSuite for a while, but never really bothered to try it out.

Well, I just did because OfficeSuite Pro 5 is free at the Amazon Appstore today, and after playing with it, I have to say it's the best office app for Android I've tried so far (at least based on my first impressions).
