Update: The deal appears to be over, with a final count of 2000 Nexus 7's sold, which is quite a lot for an eBay Daily Deal. We're betting on similar deals popping up in the weeks before Christmas, so we'll be sure to keep an eye out.
eBay Daily Deals has an absolutely fantastic deal going on right now, and you better be quick if you want in on the action. You can get a Nexus 7 32GB shipped, with a case and screen protector, for just $239 (except in NJ, where tax will be applied).
This is definitely one of the best Nexus 7 deals we've seen so far, and compared to buying the same thing on Google's Play Store, you're saving about $60 if you live in a state that the Play Store would otherwise apply sales tax to. Read More
If you love the feeling of saving money and getting deals, but hate the idea of battling crowds at chaotic retail stores this Black Friday, Google's Play Store has some deals for you. Tons (and we mean tons) of apps and games are on sale today (many on sale till Monday) in celebration of the holiday. We've compiled a ginormous list of deals for you below, and will be updating the list throughout the day as we discover more deals. Just click on each app or game to see its Play Store listing. Three days ago, Amazon dropped the price of Sprint's Note II to $230 for new customers, but the white version was excluded. Today, it has dropped the price yet again, and this time it's good for both the gray and white variants.
Effective now, you can now grab a Note II with a new agreement on The Now Network for $199. The price for upgrades has also been dropped by $30 - from $280 to $250. This is the best deal that we've seen for Samsung's next-gen phablet - but remember, Cyber Monday's just around the corner. Who knows what kind of great deals it may - or may not - bring. Read More
Just the other day, we caught sight of a deal at Best Buy on a SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSD card. The class 6 card was a steal at $43. If you were hoping for something faster or cheaper though, Amazon's got a deal that brings you both – a 64GB SanDisk Ultra class 10 card for just $41.99. What's more, the card comes with its own SD adapter.
If you want to maximize your device's storage but don't want to spend too much money, just hit the link below. We can't say for sure how long this discount will last, so those interested would be well advised to go ahead and place their orders. Read More
Despite having been out for roughly six months, the HTC One X is still one of the best smartphones you can buy on AT&T. The design and build quality are both fantastic, Sense is tolerable, and it works on AT&T's blazing fast LTE network.
If you walk into an AT&T store right now to buy this phone, you'll be leaving $100 lighter. If, however, you want to grab this phone without spending more than a penny, Amazon Wireless can make that happen. This, of course, requires you to sign a two-year agreement, but the good news is that this deal is for both new contracts and upgrades. Read More
SwiftKey is definitely the 3rd-party keyboard of favor here at Android Police (just ask Artem or Cameron), and there's no doubt in our minds that it's worth four bucks. But at two bucks, it's an absolute steal. Today and tomorrow only (November 22nd and 23rd), SwiftKey will be on sale, and that includes the phone version as well as the tablet-optimized edition. That means for the price of one SwiftKey, you can get two! If you haven't already bought it, which I'm guessing a lot of you have.
SwiftKey is well-known for its outstanding prediction engine and customization options, and honestly, I've never used a better 3rd-party keyboard, even if I do still prefer the stock experience, generally speaking. Read More
If you head on over to Amazon Wireless this morning, you'll find the Xperia TL has had its price dropped to a mere penny on contract (new subscribers or upgrades).
The Xperia TL is Sony's current flagship smartphone, and packs a 4.6" 720p display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, LTE, and a 13MP Exmor rear camera. At the low, low, price of "basically free," this is a pretty decent deal - $100 less than what you'd pay at an AT&T store. While I can't say I loved the re-styled international sibling of the TL, the Xperia TX, the TL is the James Bond phone. Read More
There's no doubt that the Nabi 2 is the absolute best tablet on the market designed just for kids. When I reviewed it back in June, I came away impressed with everything that Fuhu was able to pack into this device, all while keeping the price around $200 (that was, of course, before the Nexus 7 was announced, so a $200 tablet that didn't suck was impressive in itself). The build is solid, it's packed to the brim with educational software, and the Monarch UI is a fantastic and intuitive interface for kids. In short, it's a great little piece of kit for children. It's coming. Black Friday (and Cyber Monday), an event so important to retailers in the US that the physical trampling retail employees to death hasn't stopped it. People go nuts for this stuff. And, when you see the "$100/$75/50%/3-hour-only sale" sign plastered onto something, bleary-eyed and over-caffeinated at midnight, or frantically deciding what to put in your digital cart on Monday morning before heading to work, making a bad decision can be all too easy. It's something that we've all probably done with a product of some kind at some point - it's too good to pass up.
And that's how good, honest people end up with ancient Toshiba Thrives, or some off-brand Chinese tablet no one's ever heard of. Read More
Amazon Wireless has been on a roll lately. Yesterday, they dropped the price of the Optimus G and a slew of Verizon phones, and today they've taken a bite out of the titanium variant of Sprint's Galaxy Note II for new customers. Originally $299, you can now score this powerhouse not-quite-a-tablet-but-more-than-a-phone handset for just $229 when you sign a new contract with The Now Network. Sorry current Sprint subscribers - you'll have to shell out $280 for this device.
Strangely, this deal is only for the titanium gray version and doesn't apply to the white one. The price may very well drop later to match that of the gray variant, but at the time of writing, it's still listed for $280. Read More
