In celebration of their success, the developers are dropping the price for 48 hours (from Friday at 12PM CST to Sunday at 12PM CST), from $4.99 to $2.49 - and they "might drop that to $1.99 if [they] get enough people excited for this sale." What are you waiting for?

Verizon customers will want to keep an eye on their inboxes today, as big red has begun sending emails to select customers offering a free upgrade to Samsung's Galaxy Nexus, Stratosphere, or Motorola's Droid RAZR with a new 2-year agreement.

The email is presumably being sent out to those customers who have a 3G-only plan, or who haven't made the jump to a smartphone yet, judging by the following snippet of text, though it's hard to be certain exactly who qualifies for the deal.

Heads up! Daily Steals is knocking $100 off an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note GSM handset. It looks like the bands won't work with T-Mobile's "4G" network, but if you're on AT&T in the states, or you're looking to score a Note for your local GSM carrier elsewhere in the world, today's your lucky day.

The deal is good for today only, so don't waste time. As always, be sure to check and make sure that the unlocked device supports your local carrier's bands before buying.

Those still waiting for a hot deal on Samsung's gargantuan Galaxy Note are in luck – AT&T is offering the Note at 50% off for new or add-a-line customers if you click through a special link that enables the discount.

To take advantage of the deal, customers need only to head over to AT&T's site, choose the Samsung Galaxy Note for a new or add-a-line contract (it'll show the full price at this point - just keep on trucking), and continue with checkout.

While Motorola tablets may not exactly be flying off the shelves, that hasn't stopped Motorola from trying everything they can to sell them. Occasionally they're even a pretty good deal! For example, right now you can get the 8.2" Xyboard with a free portfolio case (normally $39) and HD dock (normally $49) for $399. If 10.1" tablets are more your style, you can get the same deal on the larger model for $499.

It looks like those still anxious to get their hands on Samsung's new phablet – The Galaxy Note – are in luck - Amazon Wireless is offering the Note for just $249.99 when customers upgrade or agree to a new 2 year contract. That's about $50 less than AT&T's price.

Even better, Amazon Wireless is giving customers the option of a white or black version of the Note (though the color selections are officially known as ceramic and carbon).

Though it has garnered a lot less attention than Amazon's Kindle Fire, Barnes and Noble's latest NOOK - the NOOK Tablet - it was released to solid reviews. The $50 price premium over the Fire - while warranted because of the doubled internal storage, doubled RAM, and SD card slot - also helped the Kindle Fire sell more units. Now, though, the Tablet is on sale for $199 with free shipping at eBay Daily Deals - meaning it matches the price of the less powerful Kindle Fire.

T-Mobile is evidently planning a huge sale in celebration of Valentine's day, offering all phones (plus the Springboard tablet and G-Slate) free for one day only this Saturday, February 11th. The deal will apply to current and new customers with Value or Classic Plans. Customers looking to take advantage of the sale will need to pay the 2-year subsidy, and will receive a full reimbursement via mail-in rebate card.

Update: The sale was apparently extended by an extra day through end of Sunday due to downed systems and busy stores that couldn't handle demand.
