If you've got a hundred dollars to burn and love awesome technological toys, J&R has a deal for you. The self-described "gadget wonderland" is offering the Sphero ball for $99.99, a $30 drop from its normal price of $129.99.

For those unaware, the Sphero is a robotic sphere than can be controlled from your smartphone or tablet. The concept sounds simplistic, but all it takes is a bit of imagination to make Sphero an awesome gadget.

When it comes to buying apps, I try to wait until a sale comes along. I usually end up buying things on a whim most of the time anyway, but I try to wait – especially for games and such that may be outside of who much I'm willing to spend on one app. If you're also the type who waits for a good sale to roll around, some pretty decent price drops just hit the Play Store sales floor.

Most of the time when we post a good deal – especially on a free phone – it's typically for new customers. In a rare event, though, Wirefly has turned that deal on its head by making  the RAZR HD free for upgrades only. New customers will still have to shell out $50 for the same devices. It's a pretty good deal either way, but it's particularly killer for existing Verizon customers.

We've featured this particular Motorola keyboard in our deals section before, but the price has never dropped quite so low: the 89451N model Bluetooth keyboard is now a paltry twenty bones on NewEgg's store, with the application of promo code EMCXWVS225. It's also got free shipping. If you want to take advantage of this deal, get a move on - it's only valid until January 30th (next Wednesday). Sorry, international readers, this one's US-only.

Yesterday, Verizon welcomed the bright pink Motorola DROID RAZR M into the fold just in time for V-Day. Sure, it's essentially the same device as the existing RAZR M, but c'mon – it's pink! That's a pretty niche color, so I'm sure there are lots of Android fangirls out there who just can't wait to get their hands on this little guy. And now, they can do just that for free at Best Buy Mobile – a $50 savings over Verizon's in-store price.

Verizon, out of all four of America's major carriers, is notorious for keeping the subsidized price points of its devices high long after release. Even 3rd party retailers seem affected by this trend, and, as such, we've not seen Verizon's Note II dip into real "deal" territory since its debut late last year.

In all likelihood, that's simply because of demand. Verizon's coverage and network sell handsets, and Big Red remains (if only marginally) the largest mobile network in the US.

While I've never been much of a live wallpaper guy myself, there's little denying that DualBoot Games (I'm guessing the name is a holdover) makes some of the best and prettiest ones out there. At least, that seems to be the general consensus, judging by the number of downloads their seven wallpaper designs have managed to achieve.

You may say "only seven? how hard can making a live wallpaper be?" Well, DualBoot Games' live wallpapers take it to the next level - the amount of customization and control you can take over one of their creations is mindblowing.

Having multiple devices that need to stay juiced up while you're out and about means that a portable charger should be a standard part of your on-the-go gear. If you don't already have one – or are in the market for a new one – Daily Steals has quite the deal going on a massive 9000mAh battery pack that can charge up to four devices at the same time.

The primary thing that sets this charger apart from comparable units (aside from being able to handle four devices at once) is that it actually has built-in microUSB and iPhone 30-pin connectors, so you don't have to carry extra cables with you.

If you're looking for a solid LTE phone on Verizon, you'll be hard-pressed to find one better than the Droid RAZR MAXX HD. Its massive 3300mAh battery is enough to easily get you through a day (and then some), Motorola's SMARTACTIONS help automate your life, and the recent upgrade to Jelly Bean (4.1) puts the icing on the cake. And since this was one of the first phones to come out of the "new" Motorola, it should get better support than, well, all previous Moto phones.
