If you missed out on November's Chromecast deals but still want to pick up the mighty-yet-inexpensive streaming accessory, good news - Best Buy is once again offering the Chromecast for just $29.99, about five dollars (and one cent) off its normal super-affordable price of $35. What's more, BB will give you free shipping, available for delivery by the 24th.

It doesn't appear that the previous deal's Google Play credit offer applies this time around, but saving five bucks is always nice.

XperiaTabletZ-Thumb

When Sony released the Xperia Tablet Z back in May, it turned out to be a surprisingly good tablet. Only six months have passed since then, and while numerous alternatives have come out in that time, it's still a solid piece of hardware. Now, listen close. If you don't have any qualms about using pre-owned hardware, you may be pleased to know that you can currently get this 10-inch tablet for just $235, a price that is significantly lower than its $499 launch price and only marginally more expensive than a Nexus 7.

Best Buy sells a ton of electronics over the course of any given year, and it should come as no surprise that they stock up on a good deal of accessories to go with them. Now Best Buy is letting some of these add-ons go for 20% off until December 25th.

Of particular interest to us are the many accessories for smartphones and tablets. While it can be tedious scrolling through all of the Apple-related gear, some goodies such as Rocketfish USB cables, a mophie external battery pack, Wacom styli, and Belkin keyboard cases are perfectly compatible with Android devices and are joined by around 300 other items catered to tablets.

Having rechargeable batteries is nice, but everything comes with its own cable these days. As a result, attempting to charge multiple devices at once can turn the space behind that nightstand into an unmanageable cluster of cables. But more and more devices now support wireless charging, and if you want to add your Galaxy Note 3 to that list, you need to invest in a wireless charging cover. While this extension would normally cost $39.99, today you can get it for just $19.99 from the Samsung store.

This is the time of year when lots of folks are picking up new devices for loved ones who are still using their busted old handset from two years ago. Of course, it's not just about loved ones – contract upgrades and new phones in general apply to everyone, regardless of the time of year. If the DROID MAXX is on your (or a loved one's) wishlist this year, Amazon has a good deal going for anyone looking to jump over to Verizon from another carrier: the longest-lasting Droid to date is $12.50.

Google wants to entice you to buy a Nexus 7 from the Play Store, but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter where you pick one up. So if you're looking to snag one in time for Christmas at a discounted price, Office Depot is currently willing to sell you one for $50 off. This brings the price of the 16GB model down to $179.99.

If you insist on buying the larger 32GB model (and really, I wouldn't blame you), Office Depot is willing to part with that for $40 off the usual retail price.
