You don't need to have one of those super hefty extended battery phones to burn through juice with wanton disregard for the future. All you need is a big honking external battery, and we found just the thing on sale today. The Anker Astro E4 is a 13,000mAh rechargeable cell that is usually only $44. That's a good deal, but for the next few days, it's down to $36.99.

The Anker Astro E4 weighs under 11oz and can charge most smartphones 5-6 times without needing to juice up itself.

The weekend has finally come, and with it... the sales. You should take advantage of them the very instant you see this post. Things could be expiring while you're just sitting there reading this witty banter. Umm... ... okay, I've got nothing. Just go buy stuff.

Hey you. Yes, you, the bitter, angst-ridden Verizon customer who's upset that you've got a snowball's chance in Hell of getting the next Nexus machine on Big Red. Let me console you with deals on a pair of new flagship devices: one that's got pretty much the same guts as the upcoming Nexus, and one that has software that looks kinda like a Nexus. Sort of. If you squint a bit.

What are you doing? Working? That's for suckers. A far better use of your time would be to play games on your phone all day. Sure, you might have some problems with bill collectors down the line, but we can at least save you a little cash on the apps.

Charging up phones, tablets, Bluetooth accessories, and external batteries can be a logistical nightmare. As someone who reviews phones (I had, no joke, 9 Android devices on my desk last week at one point), it's a problem that has driven me to the edge of sanity on multiple occasions. As such, I never travel far without a trusty USB wall charger and a portable power strip. The thing is, though, until recently, I wasn't exactly on top of charging my stuff, especially at home (aka work).

If you're dedicated to The Now Network and plan on renewing the two-year grip it has on your wallet with the Galaxy Note 3, you're in for a bit of a shocker: the on-contract price is $350. New customers can use the $100 port-in credit to get it for just $250. Ouch.

Thankfully, Wirefly is here to make the upgrade cost a little easier to swallow by knocking a fifty spot off of Sprint's offering, so you can nab this gargantuan for $300.

Friday pretty much already the weekend, so stop with all the working. Instead, you can play with your phone or tablet the rest of the day. We even have some sales to help you properly shirk your responsibilities.

Patience is a virtue, and in this case a virtue that can save you money. You could run out and buy apps and games as the mood strikes you, but then the sales would do you no good. Best to bide your time, then pounce when the moment is right. Like now! Gogogo.

You could probably use a break from all the political back and forth, right? Picking up some new apps and games is always fun, but the cost! With the right sales, even furloughed federal employees can afford to get in on the fun. Yep, we've got those.
