Todoist is a simple to-do list manager that syncs automatically across a large number of platforms. The Android app extends much of the service's functionality to mobile phones and tablets, much of which we've detailed in the past. There's Google Now integration, DashClock support, and a clean UI that looks at home on KitKat devices.
But there's a downside. There are no shortage of to-do list apps available for Android, yet since the beginning, Todoist has charged a monthly or annual fee to get access to its full set of features. A year generally goes for $29, but AppSumo has shared a deal that will provide half of that for free. Read More
It's still pretty common for OEMs to make 16GB the default storage option in phones, but you don't always have to live with that. If there's a microSD card slot, you can dump a ton of data on it—you just need to buy one first. Luckily, Amazon Goldbox has some killer deals on SanDisk storage products today only.
Update: Best Buy and Google Play are both now showing the Moto 360 as sold out. Best Buy has announced that all of its brick and mortar stores should have the watch on display in person on Sunday, September 14th.
Just slightly behind schedule, Moto 360 links have now appeared at Best Buy, Google Play, and Motorola.com. At Best Buy and Google Play, the watch is available in silver with a gray leather band or black with a matching black band. In either color, the watch costs the same $249.99, and the price remains the same regardless of where you pick it up.
Best Buy is showing the watch as shipping to stores in 5 - 7 days or shipping to homes starting on September 11th. Read More
Motorola's new devices are slowly becoming available, and if you're a Moto G kind of person, you can get the second generation handset directly from Moto for $180 sans-contract now. If you haven't already heard (I'm sure you have), the second gen G is packing a 5-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz processor (likely a Snapdragon 400), 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear shooter, and 2,070mAh battery powering it all. The show is run by Android 4.4, and Motorola has already promised the update to L.
It should be available in the US, India, France, the UK, Brazil, Spain, and Germany, though the site is naturally slammed at the moment, so you may be better off waiting a bit to grab this device. Read More
Update: It appears the links are working, and the watches are showing In Stock once again after an overnight hiatus. Order away, folks!
The Moto 360 is supposed to go on sale in the U.S. at noon ET September 5th (that's tomorrow if you're reading this as it's posted). However, it appears that you can add the two available variants to your cart and checkout with the right links, which we are happy to provide.
If you just don't want to wait to see what Google has in store for the next Nexus phone, then there's a good deal over on eBay right now for the Nexus 5. For just $315, you can grab a 16GB N5. No shipping, and no sales tax as long as you're outside of New Jersey. Not a bad deal, really.
Looks like there's a "limited quantity" available, so you should jump on it now if you plan on buying. If not, well, don't. Grab it below.
Belkin's WeMo switches take generic aspects of a home and make them smarter. If you're interested in giving parts of your house an IQ boost, several of the company's products are currently going for 20 to 25% off as part of Amazon's Gold Box Deal of the Day. The devices come in two primary form factors. There are switches intended for power outlets, and there's a wall-mounted option for controlling the lights. Either way, you're looking at tools that provide the ability to remotely control various parts of the home using an Android device.
The Belkin WeMo light switch has been reduced from $49.99 to $39.99. Read More
If you have neither a G Watch nor a Nexus 5 but want both and you live in the right market, Google has a deal for you. In certain countries, Google is offering up discounts on the Nexus 5 when you buy a G Watch. So far it looks like the deal is available in Europe and Australia, with the UK getting a £60 discount on the N5, other Europeans receiving an €80 price break, and Australians shaving AUS$100 off 2013's Nexus phone, a device that already competed on price. If you want to charge all the things in one spot, you're probably going to need more USB ports. Today we've come across an Anker 40W USB charging station rocking five of them. We previously pointed one of these out back at the beginning of this year, and this model is just like that one, only better. Rather than 25W, we're looking at 40.
Since this model spits out more juice, the price is slightly higher. Instead of $19.99, it's going for $25.99. But there's a way to bring that number right back down to 20 bucks. Just enter the coupon code 20DF7105 at checkout to knock $6 off the price. Read More
