Samsung Galaxy S III Review: Not Revolutionary, But Another Solid Step Forward For Android

The Galaxy S III is a big deal. It's kind of hard to overstate it. Samsung is the biggest, baddest Android manufacturer out there, and this is their new flagship device for the next year.

Samsung is taking advantage of their newfound clout in the Android ecosystem: it's the first Android phone to escape the cellular carriers' meddling changes. Sammy managed to pulled off a unified launch across all the major US carriers - there will be no weird variants, and no names that sound like Street Fighter II sequels.

The New Verizon Wireless Shared Data Plans Start June 28th, Here's How They Work

Verizon has officially announced the impending launch of its shared data plans on June 28, and at first glance, they make look a little confusing:

The reality is much simpler (check out this PDF - it's better). The "Share Everything" plan, as it's called, starts out on the premise that you are required to choose unlimited voice and text messaging. Not bad.

Then, you're required to select a data plan based on your needs.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Not Eligible For 50 GB Dropbox Offer On AT&T Or Verizon

Although it isn't a new feature, one of Samsung's software perks with the Galaxy S3 is the inclusion of 48 GB of free space in a Dropbox account, an offer that lasts two years. Unfortunately, according to an official Dropbox support page, some U.S. users won't have the option to take advantage of this free space.

AT&T and Verizon have chosen to opt out of this promotion, though their reasoning is unclear.

Motorola Droid RAZR HD Blurrycam Images Leak, Don't Really Show Anything New

A couple images of the rumored Droid RAZR HD just landed on Droid Life, showing off the back and side the device; while that really isn't much, at least it's something.

Download The Full Android 4.0.4 (IMM76K) Build For The Verizon Galaxy Nexus Right Now

Google has just published the fully flashable image for the 4.0.4 update to the Verizon Galaxy Nexus (mysid). This allows users who either have been unable to receive the OTA due to using a custom ROM, or simply haven't updated, to flash their devices with a complete OS image, as opposed to using an incremental update file.

This will erase all of your data, so if you do flash it, be sure to back up your stuff.
