Ah, T-Mobile's illusive Galaxy S III LTE. We've known it was coming for months now, and the long-overdue device has now silently showed up on T-Mo's website sporting a $70 down payment. Unfortunately, there's no release date in sight, but a leaked internal document obtained by TmoNews shows June 5th as the official launch date, suggesting that the 'add to cart' option here is merely a pre-order option.

But that's not all TmoNews' little snippet holds – there are also details of yet another member of the Galaxy Exhibit family. This device could be T-Mo's version of the Galaxy S III Mini, as rumored back in February, and released under the moniker Galaxy Exhibit, as indicated in the above shot.

Done With This Post?
T-Mobile is currently in the process of pushing a fairly major update to its version of the Galaxy S III, which brings Android 4.1.2 and a slew of new don't-call-it-Touchwiz features.

New Features:

Before grabbing this one, you'll need to be on build T999UVDLJC, have at least 50% battery, and not be rooted. If those bases are covered, you can either elect to pull the 168MB update over-the-air, or, for those who prefer the tethered-to-a-computer method, via Samsung Kies.

Good luck, and have fun doing two things at once.

Done With This Post? According to a support doc released yesterday, T-Mobile has paused the Optimus L9's update to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean because of the new software's less-than-stellar stability. Several users have reported significant battery drain, difficulty receiving calls, and frequent app crashes. Accordingly, T-Mobile wants to "improve performance" before resuming the OTA upgrade.

T-Mobile announced and began rolling out the Optimus L9 Jelly Bean upgrade on April 22nd, so it's somewhat surprising it took so long to identify problems with the update. Still, better late than never.

As far as ETAs go, T-Mobile unfortunately doesn't know when the fixed update will begin rolling out.

Done With This Post? Rolling out OTA and via Samsung's Kies software, the focus of the patch (version M919UVUAMDB) seems to be on T-Mobile's pre-installed applications, rather than the system software as a whole.

The Visual Voicemail and ISIS apps are set to receive "improvements," whatever that means. Still, it's good to see T-Mobile minimizing bloat while trying to maintain a good user experience so soon after the Galaxy S4's release. The effort is even more impressive when you consider that the GS4 isn't even available on a particular carrier yet.

Done With This Post? Tmo's multi-year contract with Major League Baseball gives its customers free access to the video and audio streaming app. Normally the app and the service are part of the expensive MLB.tv game streaming package, or a separate purchase of $3 a month or $20 a year.

There are some surprisingly strict terms. Naturally you'll need an active T-Mobile account to qualify, and you have to download the MLB At Bat app between now and June 30th.

Done With This Post? Tired of all the plastic on Galaxies big and small? Then look at this filing in the Federal Communication Commission's ever-expanding database of certified wireless devices. It's the Xperia Z, Sony's current flagship model, with wireless bands for T-Mobile's standard HSPA+ network and its shiny new LTE spectrum as well. That makes the stylish smartphone as close to a done deal as we're likely to get until T-Mobile starts its press campaign.

Still not convinced? An FCC filing doesn't mean a device will actually appear on American shores, but that's usually only true for international models (sometimes erroneously referred to as having "AT&T bands").

Done With This Post? T-Mobile customers can now find the Galaxy S4 available from the carrier's website for the expected price of $149 with a two-year contract, in white or black. Overnight shipping is available for those who cannot wait any longer, and since T-Mobile is pushing this as a limited-time offer, you might not want to. Supply is limited, and who knows how long you will have to wait if these things sell out.

As Jelly Bean started hitting One Xs across the US, it's as if we could hear the cry of all One S units in unison. Why had they been forgotten? Lost and alone, One Ss across the country felt unloved and worthless. "Ice Cream Sandwich was last year's OS – I just want to be the best I can be" said one unit we had a chance to speak with.

But there's a light at the end of the tunnel for these once highly-regarded handsets. T-Mobile is the unlikely hero in this story, as it has actually started pushing an OTA to the devices, which will bump them up to Android 4.1.

Done With This Post?
Another day, another Jelly Bean update to a Samsung Galaxy device. Today's target: T-Mobile's Galaxy S Relay 4G (I still hate that name). Unlike many of the other Jelly Bean updates rolling out to Galaxy phones, this one's only available through Kies and OTA.

In order to grab it, you'll need to be on the latest official firmware, have at least half the battery remaining, and the latest version of Kies. The T-Mobile support page also recommends that the device isn't rooted (big surprise there).

If you meet those requirements, fire up Kies or head into Settings > About phone > Software updates to get your taste of Jelly Bean.

Done With This Post?
