Following up on the popularity of Burn the Rope, the developers at Big Blue Bubble recently released Burn the Rope Worlds, a new game that improves on its predecessor by taking gameplay to a variety of new worlds, and introducing a few twists as well.

Players can now burn ropes through four new worlds, including Jungle, Mechanical, Fantasy and Space. Additionally, BTR Worlds brings a new mini game called "Endless Burn," which is essentially Burn the Rope's answer to the classic game Snake, the object being to collect as many bugs as possible without hitting a wall, your flame tail growing all the while.

If you're into throwing quirky, fun stuff on your Android and just love live wallpapers, this is the app for you. It's called Alive TV, and it's not only a fun way to liven up your homescreen, but it's very well made, [somewhat] functional, and quite pleasing to the eye.

Here's the gist: a wobbly TV takes center stage, bouncing around as you scroll through homescreens. Bubble clouds appear and float around, creating a rich, playful environment.

PayPal's popular app for Android has received a significant update this morning, and the biggest change allows those with NFC phones to request money from other NFC-enabled devices using PayPal - nifty. While NFC has been slow to see adoption, Google's efforts with Wallet and MasterCard WavePay have no doubt raised a few eyebrows (and one lawsuit) over at PayPal, the world's largest online-only payment service.

NFC support is enabled via a widget, and when in proximity to another NFC-enabled, PayPal-widget-using handset, you can hit the "Request Money" button and the request will populate on their PayPal account.

A sudden change of heart on the part of Com2uS has left many customers of its popular game Homerun Battle 3D infuriated, triggering a downpour of one-star ratings and requests for refunds.

The impetus behind this turmoil is the fact that Com2uS' latest update for Homerun Battle 3D has made it impossible for users running rooted devices to play the game. This decision came after between 100k and 500k purchases had already been made.
