Copying and pasting is better than it used to be on Android, but it still isn't ideal - just like Windows, you can only keep one bit of text at a time saved in the "copy" cache. Also just like Windows, several apps have sprung up to improve this functionality, most notably Clipper. Native Clipboard handles most of the same functions - primarily keeping a saved history of all copied text - but adds some impressive UI tweaks to make using it even easier. Read More

Sling Media, not to be mistaken for Sling TV (which licenses the name to offer a separate service), produces a series of set-top boxes called Slingboxes capable of taking what's on your TV and streaming it to your mobile device. From there you can flip through channels using a virtual remote control regardless of whether you're on Wi-Fi or a cellular connection.

Microsoft has restricted the Cortana virtual assistant to Windows device thus far, but an official Android release is right around the corner. You don't have to wait, though. The beta Cortana app has leaked, and it appears to be fully functional. Just grab the app from APK Mirror and give it a shot.
Microsoft started a beta test for its Hyperlapse video app a while back, but today it's out of beta and ready for download. This app takes a boring video and speeds it up into a clean time lapse clip. It doesn't have a ton of settings to play with, but most of the magic is automatic.
