Last month, we got word that popular game World of Goo would be making its way to Android, and that day has finally arrived.

For those unfamiliar with the title, you command tiny living balls of goo, using them to build structures, bridges, and whatever else you can think of to achieve the end goal: reach the exit. This game is insanely popular on iOS, Windows, Mac, Linux, and Wii, and looks absolutely beautiful on Android. Take a peek at the trailer:

The game will set you back $2.99, but if you want to give it a go before dropping any dough, there is also a free trial.

The official Race Of Champions game of unbelievable quality that Invictus has been teasing us with since October was just released in the Android Market. First organized in 1988, RoC is a real annual motorsport event "where stars from Formula One, World Rally Championship, NASCAR, sportscars and touring cars compete against each other, going head-to-head in identical cars" (per Wikipedia).

The Android version has stunning graphics and the level of detail you would regularly expect from a console game. Championship races, 4 different control schemes, highly-detailed real cars and tracks, replays, leadership boards, achievements along with excellent music and sounds can be found in the Market for...

Any time a new game shows up in NVIDIA's TegraZone, we immediately hop on to take a look - after all, only the best of the best games with gorgeous graphics make it that far.

The newest addition to TegraZone this time around is Meltdown On Mars THD - it's what I would call a mix of tower defense and Gun Bros, executed in a way kind of similar to Dungeon Defenders. You can move your main character around freely like in an RPG/action game, all while planting defensive turrets, barricades, and mines in an effort to survive waves of alien attacks.

Blood? Check. Glory? Check. An "Infinity Blade"-like experience on Android? Glu Mobile's new game "Blood & Glory" has you covered. Hack, slash, dodge, use special attacks and combos, wipe the blood off your screen, then rinse and repeat as you participate in a series of medieval tournaments.

Graphics and visual effects were among Infinity Blade's best selling points, and Blood & Glory definitely fill its shoes in that department - both the physics and the visuals are stunning.

One of the biggest questions about Minecraft: Pocket Edition since its release on the Android Market has been whether the game will be updated to include survival mode. For those not aware, Minecraft: Pocket Edition currently only supports build mode, a zen-like manner of play in which the user can freely build structures using a variety of materials and tools. Survival mode adds interest, surrounding you and your structures with monsters and animals.

At MineCon 2011, it was confirmed that Mojang (the maker of Minecraft) has plans to add survival mode to Pocket Edition, though the exact timing of the update is yet unknown.

The creators of the popular Flick games (Flick Soccer and Flick Golf) have done it again, recently releasing NFL Flick Quarterback to the Android Market. The game combines the popular flick controls from Full Fat Productions' other games with NFL action, allowing players to "become the QB you’ve always dreamed of becoming."

Flick Quarterback offers much more than its controls and impressive graphics however. Players can choose from Playmaker and Trick Shot modes, which each offer their own unique gameplay twists. Additionally, the game offers day or night time play, as well as elemental obstacles like wind, meant to make gameplay more challenging by throwing off your passes.

Giving new life to a classic board game, EA Games has brought The Game of Life to the Android Market. The game has been given a three-dimensional treatment, taking users through "winding roads and lush environments." In order to maintain the multiplayer nature of the board game, EA has opted for a pass-to-play mechanic, accommodating up to four players on a single device.

Personally, I find the graphics less than "amazing," but the gameplay looks fun enough for a pass-and-play reimagining of the popular board game. If you're looking for a way to waste a little time with a few friends, The Game of Life will certainly be of help, and it can be yours for $4.99 (or £2.99 for the 'Rest of the World' version).
