Grab your sonic screwdriver because the BBC's official Doctor Who: Legacy game has just materialized on Android. You are invited to play The Doctor and do battle with his most fearsome enemies in this turn-based puzzler-strategy hybrid.

The basic gameplay is a bit like Bejeweled with a turn-based strategy component. You play through various episodes and take on bad guys from the show – it almost goes without saying, but don't blink.

Thanksgiving Day is tomorrow, which means there will be many kids who need something to occupy their time while parents drone on and on about family, politics, and football. Cartoon Network is here to help. They've dropped Wrath of Psychobos - Ben 10 into the Play Store, complete with visuals reminiscent of the hit TV show.

The game is deeper than first impressions would suggest, with over 30 levels within diverse environments spread across multiple planets.

RidiculousFishing-Thumb

The popular - and absolutely absurd - Ridiculous Fishing made its Android debut as part of the current Humble Mobile Bundle just last week, and now it's available in the Play Store. If you've been looking forward to getting your hands on this addictive, tilt-controlled, vaguely-fishing game but have no interest in the other titles offered in the bundle, this is a cheaper way to do so.

Many of the games we see enter the Play Store are just plain weird, but few can hold a candle to the premise behind Ridiculous Fishing.

The Humble Mobile Bundle 3 was launched last week with the debut of two big games on Android, Ridiculous Fishing and Swordigo. As is traditional with the Humble Bundle, paying above the average price gets you the full selection of games, as well as additional content in the future. Well, the future is now and Humble Bundle has added three more titles and soundtracks to the deal.

The popular game Hundreds is in the new set, which if you're not aware, is a puzzle game that requires you to tap on floating circles to make them grow.

Do you have an affinity for the early 90s? Rockstar Games is preparing to take you back in time with GTA: San Andreas, which is coming to Android in December. This isn't just a straight port, though. Rockstar is doing some work to make the experience of playing San Andreas (which is a massive game) better on a mobile device.

GTA: San Andreas was by far the biggest GTA game of the PS2 era, so the developers have reworked the checkpoints to make it easier to advance.

Oftentimes many companies take the easy way out and produce a simplistic endless runner to shoehorn any popular character into. But in the case of Sega's Sonic Dash, it's a match made in heaven. Endlessly running is what this blue hedgehog has always done in his free time, and to be honest, this style of gameplay isn't all that different from what's available in many of his latest mainstream titles. This release frankly makes sense, and as far as runners go, it's actually pretty good.

Crescent Moon has been one of the more reliable developers on the Play Store as of late, and their newest game is definitely worth a look from anyone who enjoys a good old-fashioned beat-em-up. Nakama evokes the spirit of 2D side-scrolling fighters like Streets Of Rage or Double Dragon. At least, it's like Double Dragon might have been if you played it at 200 frames per second.

You play as an inexplicably blocky ninja on a quest to save his friends.

It's back to the daily grind today, but you can still maybe have some fun in between all the soul-crushing monotony and meetings about meetings. We can even save you some money on apps, which will certainly be a great conversation starter when you run into the head of international accounting and compliance at the vending machine. Actually, if your job is anything like that, you should maybe just quit and enjoy the cheap apps.
