Fans of the classic game Battle Realms have a real treat coming sometime next year (I know, that's still a while from now, but good things come to those who wait), as Liquid Entertainment is bringing a version of the game to Android. It's not the same style of Battle Realms that you fell in love with years ago, however - it's going to be a collectible card style game set in the traditional Battle Realms world.
Everyone who knows me is aware of my absolute love for zombies. If there's anything that I love more than zombies - it's fragging the ever-living hell out of them with an array of weapons that would impress even the most violent-minded among us. It's not very often that I get the opportunity to do such a thing, but Biofrenzy: Frag The Zombies brings that exact experience to my handheld.
Biofrenzy is a 2D sidescroller where you fight for your life against a seemingly endless hoard of flesh devouring bio-infected freaks - but not without a massive arsenal at your disposal.
Gamevil, the mastermind behind the Zenonia series, released the sequel to its super-popular baseball game Baseball Superstars into the Android Market today. Baseball Superstars II brings all of the fun of the original, as well as some new features, like enhanced control and graphics, an improved baseball experience, and user-created super skills - including pitch and batting effects.
The game itself offers seven different modes of play: Exhibition, My League, Season, Homerun Race, Tournament, Mission, and Match Mode.
Before I begin, let's please drop the pretense. This is the internet and nobody knows who you are, so don't sit there and pretend that you don't miss Winnie the Pooh, because EVERYONE misses Winnie the Pooh!
You probably already know this, but a new Winnie the Pooh was just released in the States , so Disney has released an Android application to promote the film and delight your kids - and you - at the same time.
This post only features games - apps are coming soon in a separate post and tablet apps were posted earlier today.
This edition focuses only on new tablet apps or ones that added Honeycomb support. Regular apps and games are coming soon.
Ok, we've all seen enough post-apocalyptic movies to know what the deal is here. An obscene level of asteroids has suddenly decided to wreak havoc upon this wonderful planet of ours, and it is your job in Asteroid Tower Defense to set up a space defense capable of taking the bloody things out.
Tower Defense titles are certainly not new to the Android platform, with games such as Fieldrunners HD and Tower Raiders already in the market, and the concept is simple enough, but as you progress through the levels, things get considerably harder as the asteroids increase in size and speed.
The Beer Pong HD crew have really outdone themselves this go around: they added an Android Police table, complete with cop and villain! Have a look:
If you don't already have it installed, head over to the Android Market and get it!
