While World War II may not be the most original setting for a shooter such as this, Gameloft's latest game - Brothers In Arms 2 - is loaded with excellent graphics, multiplayer, and a price of $0. There is a slight catch to it being free, however; in addition to having ads, the game offers the ability to purchase "Medals" to unlock new features and gear more quickly, but this isn't necessary, and everything can be unlocked by gaining experience instead.

Fans of retro-gaming, rejoice - Dragon's Lair has made its way to Android. Originally available as an arcade game back in 1983, this quirky game takes you on the journey of a brave knight on a mission to save a beautiful princess - a pretty typical storyline indeed. That's probably the only thing typical about this game - given its age, that is.

Dragon's Lair changed the way games were played when it hit the scene; controls were different, graphics were better, gameplay was more fluid - you name it, Dragon's Lair made it happen.

About a week ago, we mentioned Sleepy Jack in a new-game roundup. I recently picked it up and haven't been able to put it back down since! If you can remember bringing your toys to life using the power of childhood imagination (or even if you can't), this game is sure to get your mind going.

First Things First

Sleepy Jack has to be one of the most creative, well-made mobile games I've played to date, and I've played quite a few.

The other day, Polarbit released a new game called Tank Riders, and I was thoroughly excited to get my hands on my own tiny tank. I mean, who doesn't want to control a miniature tank and blow things up with miniature artillery? Nobody, that's who.

First Things First

At first glace, this game seems to have all of the action-packed fun you'd need to last a while. Polarbit boasts rich and vibrant graphics, attacking hordes of bad guys in single-player campaign mode, playing against other tiny tank riders in online multiplayer, and downloadable content that will keep the game fresh and exciting.

Having harbored a lifelong love of both moonshine and wreaking havoc in souped-up airboats, I was naturally excited when we came across Shine Runner. Finally, I can blaze across backcountry bayous, smuggling only the finest hillbilly necessities. This game is the latest from Vector Unit, makers of Riptide GP, and it is sure to bring out the hillbilly in you.

First Things First

The concept of this game is quite simple - you are an airboat-riding hillbilly out to smuggle several different backcountry essentials around the bayou.

Adding another entry to the Tegra Zone's small, yet ever growing collection of Tegra 3 optimized games, Pitbull Studio Ltd is planning to release Big Top THD in December 2011. Big Top is a cartoony, yet lavishly styled game that lets you run away to the circus, while fully utilizing the awesomeness that is NVIDIA's powerful quad-core superchip.

Big Top THD takes players through a beautifully-rendered circus, including pie throwing, plate spinning, juggling, and diving challenges as well as testing a handful of other typical circus skills.

If there is one thing that has been on my to-do lost for the biggest part of my life, it's blow stuff up with a tiny tank. Since that's highly unlikely to happen in the physical world, I can now turn to Tank Riders from Polarbit to fulfill this lifelong dream in digital space.

As you can see, Tank Riders is a damn good-looking game. The environments are rich, graphics are nice, gameplay looks smooth, and, best of all, you get to blow stuff up.
